In the performance market, numbers mean everything. From MHZ to megabyte, the industry revolves around extremes. Today I have the Saitek GM3200 gamers mouse which promises the fairly unnecessary DPI of 3200. Will this be enough?
3200 DPI, Very comfortable, Customisable
Polling rate, Looks a little tacky at night,
The high DPI will be welcomed by high speed gamers, but the lower polling rate will be a disappointment to the accuracy gamers. This mouse is targeted at the speed gamers by design and will satisfy your cravings for swift onscreen movement.

When it comes to playing a FPS game or taking advantage of the UI elements of your operating system and programs, a standard mouse is what most people use. They have been around forever and, to most people, are nothing special. However, to the...
3200 DPI ; Resolution adjustable on the fly ; Software allows for two profiles ; Comfortable ; Very customizable
Could have better documentation
Mice, while not wholly necessary to use a computer, are very helpful to have and required if you want to play most video games on your PC. The most important factor with a device that you use directly every day is comfort and the Saitek GM3200 Laser...

The Saitek GM3200 impresses with all its unique features. While on the fly DPI switching is nothing new, it is a very nice starting point. Saitek did not stop there and added a very good weight distribution system. The build quality is great and the...
Customizable weight system, Good choice of DPI settings, Great on-the-fly DPI switch, Solid software, Great quality, Nice lighting, Long 2.5 m cable, Available in blue or red
Very big and clumsy mouse, Somewhat uncomfortable for extended use, Weight covers may break easy

Saitek GM3200 Laser Mouse ReviewThe fastest (3200 DPI!) gaming mouse ever. Does that make it the best ever? Find out.
Though we've got some complaints with the GM3200 we wouldn't go so far as to say that it's a bad gaming mouse. For particular niches of players, like those that want a faster than 2000 DPI mouse, or those sensitive enough to notice where a mouse...

Input devices such as a keyboard or mouse, are one of the most commonly overlooked devices to increase a gamer's performance. For the most part, just a regular optical mouse will do the job fine but if you're serious about your gaming, you want to...
Fast and responsive ; Smooth travel across any surface, weights can be added or replaced for personal preference ; Game specific profiles for button configurations
Weight system needs a little work ; Mouse size, could have been thinner ; Extra DPI over-kill
