Roccat Kone Pure Military review

This gaming mouse is cheap, comfy and comes in camouflage

Comfortable Control-style grip ; Simple, effective design ; Fun lighting effects ; Great price

No Mac support ; Easy-Shift [+] is cumbersome ; Wonky software setup ; Right-handed only

For 10 bucks less than the 12,000 dpi (!!!) Logitech G502 Proteus Core, the Roccat Kone Pure Military might not offer the same hardware-level customization, but it's far more comfortable. Not to mention that the mouse is way simpler, and offers much of...

Roccat Kone Pure Military Review

When choosing a mouse, everyone has different needs. That might be wired, or wireless… left handed, right handed or both… laser or optical… basic buttons, a million buttons… and so much more. Then of course there is finish, rubber, plastic, metal?.....

Getting something out there to start with, I have to say that the Roccat Kone XTD is my mouse of choice. I use it every day and before that model I used another Roccat Kone. The shape of the body looks and feels great and the performance is exceptional...

solid mouse

bought it cuz its on sale with good deal and overall its a solid mouse with everything i need

- programmable mouse of course is nice - the shift button system is op haven't really seen any mouse doing that - adjustable mouse response, speeds, clicks, curves, etc. very precise - nice led lights

- mouse default settings are not good like not even a standard mouse so you have to adjust couple of stuff before you get comfortable with it - the thumb rest is pretty useless i really don't think i would feel a difference weather it's there or not -...

Very nice Mouse but has issues with Win 10

- I will hopefully update this review with more details once I have full functionality of the mouse. Currently I can only use the base windows mouse drivers so some of the buttons on the mouse do not function and I am unable to setup macros for the games.

- Nice design - Well constructed - Software is very comprehensive (with issues - See other) - Functionality with standard windows mouse drivers is great.

- Software does not seem to want to work with Win 10. I surfed the forums with no success with the suggestions seen there. Hopefully ROCCAT will release updated windows drivers and software to fix the issue.

My Latest attempt to find good quality and reasonable price

Longevity unknown, but if it lasts more than a year, a great buy at less than 30 bucks.

Bought at the beginning of March to replace a wireless gaming mouse that started randomly dropping signal momentarily on a regular basis. So far I like it. Works great for fingertip grip and my larger than average but not huge hands. Responsiveness and...

Software is SLOOOOOW. Takes up to a minute (or more!) to save changes to the profile. Luckily, I don't change things much once I find what I like. deducting one egg for that.

Excellent budget mouse, but has some caveats

All in all, this is a decent product at its price point. Because apparently few people like the color of this mouse, it goes on sale quite often. If you can pick this up for cheap, I firmly believe this is the best mouse you can buy in the $30 range.

- Good sensor capable of up to 5000 DPI. Playing FPS and RTS games, I never encountered skips or inaccuracies. - Satisfying buttons. The left and right mouse buttons on this mouse are easy to activate. As someone who hates overly stiff mouse buttons,...

- This mouse is very compact. The body of the mouse feels like it was originally considered as a portable, laptop mouse. If you use a palm grip, your finger tips will most likely extend past the front of the mouse. If you have large hands in general,...

Great Mouse

Wouldn't recommend this mouse for someone with large hands. My hands are about 8 inches or 20.3 cm (from wrist/palm intersection to tip of my middle finger) and I am quite comfortable using a finger tip grip on this mouse. I could slightly palm this...

-Light Weight -Responsive -Wide range of CPI adjustments -Comprehensive Software -LED Lighting -Came in combination with the ROCCAT Sense Camo Charge mouse pad -3310 Sensor, still one of the best on the market -Scroll wheel has nice solid bumps when...

-Shell color may not be for everyone

Review for Rooccatt Kone Pure Military ROC-11-713

I would recommend this product only if you have small to medium sized hands.

Nice mouse with lots of features. Works as advertised.

Too small for my hand. It is smaller than most mice and it caused my hand to cramp when attempting to use it. If one has small hands, it should be suitable for you.

3.5 star - Too small for deathadder user

Overall a solid mouse. I gave it to my brother who had been using a Zowie EC-2 evo and he likes the Kone Pure Military more.

Build quality feels solid. I like the wide mouse scroll wheel and how smoothly the mouse glides against the pad. The drivers are good and offer many customization features like the lighting and 'easy-shift' button assignments. Seems to track movement...

I purchased the Kone Pure Military after using the Deathadder 2013 for 2 years. After using it for a few hours for gaming (CS:GO) and various computer tasks, I decided the shape left too much to be desired. It is definitely a bit smaller than what I am...

May be the best I've ever used

I also have a mouse addition, I have a lot in my collection, currently have: Logitech G5, Corsair M60, Genius Gila, Mionix 8200, Mad Catz R.A.T. 3, Tt Theron, Gigabyte M7 Thor, OCZ Equalizer (A4 Tech 3Xfire), Razor Lachesis and now this Roccat Kone...

Feels great in my hands. Claw grip. Very accurate. Nice soft texture feel on the mouse, not cheap plastic. Seems solid and well made. I personally found the software to be very good. Looks great on my Roccat Alumic (I have a mouse pad addition problem)

It may be small for some. The desert color scheme is only OK
