Razer Orochi

Razer has shown interest in on-the-go gaming with the svelte Razer Blade and Razer Blade Stealth laptops, but mobile gamers also need a mouse to pair with their luggable rigs.

Very portable ; Good tracking ; Slick, ergonomic design ; Great software

Missed out on 5G sensor ; Small for a gaming mouse ; Slightly overpriced

It’s a little small and a little expensive, but the Razer Orochi is one of the best wireless mobile gaming mice on the market.

Razer Orochi

Portable size. Good wired performance. Bluetooth performance good for application use. Ambidextrous. Highly customisable.

Bluetooth adds perceptible lag during gameplay. Driver control panel not usable in Bluetooth mode. Small size could mean discomfort during long play sessions. Macro support limited to 16 entries.

It's a tough ask, but Razer's Orochi mostly succeeds at infusing gaming quality into a portable mouse. If you're an on-the-road gamer, we'd recommend making the space for a full-sized mouse. If you need the space, though, and want good wireless...

Razer Orochi Review — Missed Connection

The Orochi is a decent mouse all around, and it's much cheaper than most wireless mice. (The Razer Mamba costs $150, while the SteelSeries Sensei Wireless costs $160.) However, the wireless features depend entirely on how nicely your computer plays...

Good price ; Ambidextrous design ; Great software

Hit-or-miss Bluetooth ; No wireless dongle option ; Dull lighting

The Razer Orochi is an attractive and comfortable mobile mouse, but its wireless and lighting features carry some caveats.

Razer Orochi portable gaming mouse

Believe it or not, this mouse really does perform like its larger brothers. The wireless performance was top notch in my testing and it’s great to have the ability to fall back to the wired if you run into an issue. The Orochi sports Razer’s top-notch...
