Razer Abyssus review

The Razer Abyssus doesn't look too much like a gaming mouse. Yes, it's sleek and has a cool blue logo on its body that lights up but in terms of size and weight, its closer to regular mice. While we're used to lightweight regular mice, it's quite...

Can get slippery.

If you really want a mouse that can integrate with your other Chroma-enabled peripherals, the Abyssus Essential isn’t necessarily bad. However, there are plenty of cheaper mice on the market – with a full complement of buttons – that also have better...

Razer Abyssus Mirror Special Edition Gaming Mouse Review

Sticking with the essential features of a gaming mouse, the Razer Abyssus Mirror seeks to attract no-nonsense gamers.

2 year warranty after product registration ; Adjustable DPI and polling rate without software ; Customizable buttons and sensitivity (with on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment) through software ; High gloss mirror finish is smooth, non-slip and easy to...

Clunky and cheap sounding scroll wheel ; Excessive packaging material ; High gloss mirror finish is easy to dirty (but easy to clean also) ; Lack of profiles in both software and hardware ; Only 3 buttons ; Price tag leaves more to be desired

The Razer Abyssus Mirror was designed to be a straight-forward and simple gaming mouse. Taking its roots from the original Abyssus, the newer Abyssus Mirror is a highly responsive mouse thanks to its excellent infrared sensor capable of sensing up-to...

Razer Abyssus Essential

The Razer Abyssus Essential fills a very specific niche: It's a gaming mouse with basic features, RGB lighting, and a design that works well for both lefties and righties.

Ambidextrous design. Eye-catching underglow. Oversize glide pads.

Coating is prone to dings. Single-zone lighting. Lacks a braided USB cable. Low max DPI for the price.

Bottom Line: The Razer Abyssus Essential fills a very specific niche: It's a gaming mouse with basic features, RGB lighting, and a design that works well for both lefties and righties.

Razer Abyssus Mirror

The Razer Abyssus Mirror claims to get back to the basics, but goes back a bit too far while costing more than its competitors.

Speedy mouse with switchable DPI and polling rate. Slick design with illuminated logo. Large buttons support full index and middle finger navigation.

Steep price for fewer features than its competitors. Glossy finish is prone to smudges.

The Razer Abyssus Reviewed

Gaming mice have always been a confusing decision for gamers to make. Some mice give you 200 million buttons to use, but you end up using some or none at all. What if you wanted a high performance gaming mouse with all the bells and whistles, but...

Final Verdict The Razer Abyssus is a brilliant gaming mouse with great customization options, fantastic specs and performance as well. As mentioned earlier, a user with big hands might have an issue with its size and the driver software not being...

Razer Abyssus

Good gaming performance.

Limited customisation. On-the-fly sensitivity not really useful due to lack of buttons. DPI and polling switches are a pain to access. Only 16 events allowed in macros.

It may be a simple mouse, but if you can't afford the higher-end gaming mice, the Abyssus is a plucky little contender.

Quick Review: Razer Abyssus Mirror Gaming Mouse

Razer, mostly known for gaming mice with tons of buttons and options, takes a more simplified approach with the Razer Abyssus Mirror.

The choice basically comes down to what you want in a mouse. If you want a mouse that gives you good performance with minimal effort and a simple yet functional design, the Abyssus Mirror is definitely a mouse to look at. It's also a good choice if...

Gaming mouse

There are pretty much only two things that I demand from my PC mouse as a gamer, as far as physical features go at least, and those are side-mounted thumb-buttons and "on-the-fly" sensitivity adjustment. I mention these straight off the bat as the...
