HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse (Black) review

Those who travel for work with a small laptop know the value of a spare USB port. With Bluetooth still a rarity on mobile PCs, Hewlett-Packard's Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse offers an alternative way to free up some extra connectivity. For $49.99 when it debuts...

By using your wireless receiver to connect to your PC, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse frees up USB ports for connectivity-starved travelers.

The mouse won't work without Windows 7, and it will be unreliable if you don't have a Windows 7-certified wireless adapter.

Thanks to its unique, reliable Wi-Fi-based connection methodology, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is easy to recommend to mobile Windows 7 PC users who need more available USB ports.

Avoid

I got this mouse about 6 month ago for my personal laptop (Toshiba Win7). And I couldn't pair it (after installing latest drivers and verifying all settings setup wizard couldn't discover mouse)

Impossible to pair

HP wifi mouse is as worthless as whistle on a plow!

I take it out of the junk box every few months, down load a driver and fool with it for an hour then throw it back in after it doesn't work.

Looks nice. Uses common batteries.

Will not work.

"Frustrated!"

Don't waste your money on this product.

Nice design. Doesn't use a USB port.

I purchased this mouse several months ago and my patience with it has run out. I lose the connection with the mouse about every other day. The only way to reconnect the mouse with the computer is to restart the computer.

The HP WIFI Mouse, is deffinately worth a try, Obviously it free's up any USB's by working wirelessly. The mouse itself is pretty durable and like any standard mouse had 5 buttons and a wheel. The software developed for the mouse is deffinately not up...

Installed and works great. Only problem is that it only works with Windows 7 and not XP which I don't remember reading about.

I have had this mouse for about a year and it has worked ok for the most part. The problems I have found are: the scroll wheel got really hard to roll ( felt sticky ) after about 3 months even though nothing was ever spilled on it. It eventually worked...
