Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 review

We found the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 a pleasure to use

The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 may look unusual but its one of the most comfortable and ergonomic we've tested. The ability to enable different commands for the buttons and wheel in different programs particularly impressed us.

A Microsoft Laser Mouse : Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000

For various reasons it has been some time since I last took a look at a piece of Microsoft hardware. Now, like London buses, two separate items turn up together

Adopting a black and matt silver colour scheme, the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 is larger than you might normally expect for use with a notebook. However this increase in size is hardly excessive. The mouse measures 10.2 x 8.5cm (L x...

Microsoft Mouse and USB DVD-RW drive : Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 ; USB Slim Portable Optical Drive DVD-RW

Another pair of items that have been used together with the Space Station and USB light reviewed a few days ago. First the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse and second a very neat and compact DVD-RW USB2 drive that will work with any PC or notebook.

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 For anyone who dislikes trackpads then an external mouse with a notebook is the answer. Having a wireless mouse means that the limited space often associated with notebooks can be utilised better if the...

Hits and misses

The Laser Mouse 7000 is a sleek and ergonomic wireless mouse primarily made for productivity and comfort.

Easy to set up ; relatively comfortable ; uses AAA-sized batteries

Expensive ; mouse wheel lacks indents

However, at RM229 list, the price is a little hefty and at this level, you could find a better wireless mouse with more features than this.

Review: Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000

A wireless mouse that is rechargeable

It comes with a small charging plate that plugs into the mains and refills the mouse's batteries. There is also a tiny receiver that goes into the PC's USB port. The optional software can be used to customise the mouse's function buttons and make other...

Review: Microsoft Rechargeable Wireless Laser Mouse 7000

Don Bradbury takes this all-singing, all-dancing computer mouse through its paces

Overall facility; good ergonomics; up to 30ft wireless operation; rechargeable power source

Upper side panel mounting of the two thumb buttons, right handed use only

A notebook's trackpad will remain active while the Laser Mouse 7000 is in service, though even that can be switched off via IntelliPoint if you prefer, and all in all, the general and specific options you get from this device are quite astounding. We...
