Great Mouse that isn't wireless

Excellent Mouse, Good size, movement, wheel and buttons responsive. And best of all, no batteries required. Why is it most of the mice with best features are Wireless ? well now there is the Comfort Mouse 6000,

Old Model Was Better

I finally gave up finding my fave mouse (Intellimouse Explorer 4.0) at a decent price and figured out this current model was close. It's not as nice and does not fit my hand as well as the Explorer. Microsoft has reprogrammed its mouse driver combining...

Mappable buttons ; Good scroll wheel ; Smooth

A little long in the hand ; Odd scrolling behavior (overshoots on web pages) ; New drivers confusingly take over keyboard rendering it inoperable

Nice mouse

I find it takes a normal amount of force to click the mouse, but to be fair, I'm coming from a Comfort Mouse 3000. As for the polling rate, traditional means to change it from Windows don't work. The mouse works fine regardless though.

Looks decent, has grippy-sides, and glides easily across my mouse pad and plastic table

Locked to 125Hz polling rate

good purchase

I'm thinking of getting 2 more just in case MS discontinues this model.

tracking as advertised, I put the mouse on my palm and it tracked then on my head and it tracked. all buttons work

I have small hands and the 6000 is a little big, I have trouble reaching the second thumb button. I don't know if this is a con or what but it feels very light (mouse and buttons). I've had this mouse for @6 months and it feels the same as the 1st day...

NOT a replacement for an Intellimouse

Probably the best mouse that Microsoft makes for gamers anymore. We should all be annoyed with them, because discontinued all their nice mice and only focus on touch mice and basic ones... They used to make really, REALLY good mice, for way cheaper...

It has the same shape as an Intellimouse Explorer or a Habu (Both extremely awesome mice that Microsoft bungled by decommissioning.) ; The buttons all work nicely, and it fits a palm grip well ; Good enough sensor to game with ; AMAZING software. The...

It's small. The pictures make it look like an updated version of the Intellimouse (Which was huge, and a lot of us loved it because of that), but it's probably only 75% as large ; This actually is a con for me, as it causes my pinky to rub against the...

Decent for the price.

Compared with my Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 (my 7 year old mouse this is meant to replace) this thing weighs next to nothing which is weird to me, not necessarily a con.

Tracks fairly well on just about any surface as the product description boasts ; The scroll wheel has just enough resistance between detents to not accidentally scroll and is fairly quiet

The left//right buttons are quite possibly the *loudest* mouse buttons i've ever heard or used. I imagine it might quiet down once i've got it broken in but really the noise is my only complaint at this point

Hunt for a Better Mouse If You Can

My Dynex mouse died after about 10 months of solid use. I fought against it, even to the point that I considered that USB had stopped working on my laptop, but the evidence was clear. It was ...

it's shiny, clever connector design, includes screen magnifier

terrible battery life, too light, sticks, periodic latency, expensive
