Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650

Our exclusive review of the first Windows 8 touchpad on the market.

Stylish design, Durable with excellent build quality, Responsive, Intuive setup with customisable gestures

Expensive, Poor battery life, Limited use in early days of Windows 8

Logitech T650 wireless touchpad

Windows 8 brought with it a quite specific problem - be it real or imagined - namely, that it was created for touch interaction. So the Logitech T650 was designed to bring touch to the millions upon millions of computers in the world that have no touch...

Rechargeable, stylish, great touch surface,

You will waste time doing things you didn't want to, expensive, not fast enough at scrolling,

Windows 8 works really well without the touch stuff, but if you feel like you're missing out, the T650 is just about the best solution we've seen. Better than all the touch mice that have started to appear on the market and very nearly as good as a...

Logitech T650 Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad review

Logitech's answer is the T650 Touchpad. It's a large slab that's around four times bigger than the average laptop touchpad, and supports up to four-fingered gestures.

The T650 is pretty expensive at £70, and isn't a perfect substitute for a touchscreen. If you're prepared to use it alongside a traditional mouse, it can make using Windows 8's modern interface a much nicer experience. We'd be tempted to put that £70...

Touch pads gain ground with the Logitech T650

A standalone touch pad makes a lot more sense than a mouse for Windows 8 gestures.

The glass-topped ; has a large multitouch surface, and works seamlessly with all types of Windows 8 devices.

The charging cable and USB receiver are extra parts to deal with, and Mac functionality is severely limited.

The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 makes it easy to add a standalone touch pad to your Windows 8 tablet or desktop, but mimicking touch-screen gestures is still an imperfect experience.

Logitech T650 Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad

While plenty of new laptops and desktops are incorporating touch screens to accommodate the touch-centric aspects of Windows 8, not everyone who upgraded to the new operating system chose to upgrade to more expensive touch-enabled hardware. For those...

Windows 8 touch functionality in a comfortable, easy to use device. Eliminates the need to upgrade laptop or desktop for touch. Stylish design

Minor quirks mar gesture control. Desktop use and USB charging raises questions about wireless design

The Logitech T650 Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad puts all of the touchable features of Windows 8 into the hands of regular desktop users.

Review - Logitech T650 Rechargeable Touchpad

Windows 8.1 has made us rethink the way we interact with our computers. The traditional type and click keyboard/mouse setup has been augmented with touch screens and gestures, sometimes to the point that mice are being left out of the equation all...
