Logitech Wireless Mouse M560

The Logitech Wireless Mouse M560 is a highly customizable wireless mouse that costs a little too much, considering its build quality.

Modern design. Logitech unifying receiver syncs multiple Logitech peripherals. Every button can be customized. Chrome extension for smoother scrolling available.

Matte coating gets dirty easily. Design isn't comfortable for long-term use. Plastic build feels cheap. Smooth scrolling sometimes enlarges Web pages.

Conclusion If you're looking for a wireless mouse that will work with other Logitech devices, the right-handed Marathon M705 mouse is just $10 more and offers greater comfort. The expensive-but-ambidextrous Microsoft Touch Mouse is also available, and...

logitech forgot how to make mice

Might be ok for grandma, but she'd still be happier with an m510.

Good range on the RF dongle. It looks pretty sleek. Hasn't caught on fire yet.

No manufacturer software to configure buttons. No middle mouse function. Undivided buttons made of plastic so hard it clicks left and right at the same time frequently. Scroll wheel can only have the function of going slack and spinning freely instead...

Freezes - Must be hard reset often.

For the price I paid, I believe I could have purchased a (new) better quality product.

It works and gets the job done. Incredibly fast center wheel speed

Easy to mistakenly click right when attempting to click left and vice versa ; Side buttons are also easily clicked by accident (specifically front side button) ; Center wheel can not be clicked. (I use this feature frequently with other mouses to open...

Nice construction. Sides are rubberish with texture being ,goose-bumped, like a carbon fiber. Top is easily cleaned and is uniform but the buttons are very responsive. Center scroll wheel is rubberized. Green LED on the bottom, when you lift the unit...

Awesome mouse. Great deal when refurbished and on sale. Works perfectly--something to be expected from Logitech. Included micro wireless transmitter inside of it. Powered by one--count 'em.. 1 AA battery! It is supposed to work for a long time on one...

Wheel button not recognized by SolidWorks

In SW, pushing down on the wheel invokes the view-rotate function, which is probably the most critical/common function used nearly constantly when designing. For some reason, SW does not recognize the press coming from this mouse. I couldn't think of...

Great price (refurbished) ; Nice design ; Logitech quality

Mouse wheel button (i.e. push down on wheel as 3rd button) does not work - at least in SolidWorks (CAD program)
