Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless review

Praiseworthy, especially for the price

Adorable design that comes in equally adorable colors ; Very affordable for a wireless mouse ; Lots of preset remapping on hand ; Reliable wireless connection

Might be too slim for bigger hands ; No Bluetooth ; Non-rechargeable ; No dedicated Sniper button ; Passable battery life

Logitech G305 Lightspeed Review: A Wireless Mouse for a G

The Logitech G305 Lightspeed is great for PC gaming and taking care of business.

Advanced sensor ; Reliable wireless connection

Not rechargeable ; Can feel small to bigger hands ; Stiff competition

The Logitech G305 Lightspeed is great for gaming and daily work and is easy to transport. But it requires a AA battery, while similarly priced rivals are rechargable.

Logitech G305 and G603 wireless mice review: A lifesaver for traveling gamers

Logitech's G305 and G603 give traveling gamers a choice of two wireless mice that are capable performers, easy to pack, and run on AA batteries.

Slim design makes it easy to pack ; Single AA battery gives 250 hours of battery life ; Hero sensor performs as well as the famed PWM3366 ; Adopts Logitech's comfortable G703 scooped shape ; 500 hours of high-performance gaming off two AA batteries ;...

250 hours of battery isn't much for daily home use ; Weight distribution is a bit awkward because of the battery ; Undersized and a bit too flat for comfort ; Heavy, thanks to the dual batteries ; Hard to say how durable the buttons will be over time ;...

It’s a niche, sure, but a growing one. With gaming laptops more and more affordable, I’d wager a lot of people need roadworthy solutions for playing on-the-go. Both the G305 and G603 are excellent picks, powerful mice that nevertheless last for hours...

Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse

Subdued in style, the Logitech G305 Lightspeed seems a basic gaming mouse at first blush. Get your hand on it, though, and you'll appreciate its high-end wireless tech at a modest price.

Affordable path to wireless gaming. 1ms response time. Lengthy battery life.

Not rechargeable. No Bluetooth option. Minimal customization.

Bottom Line: Subdued in style, the Logitech G305 Lightspeed seems a basic gaming mouse at first blush. Get your hand on it, though, and you'll appreciate its high-end wireless tech at a modest price.

Logitech G305 review: A LIGHTSPEED gaming mouse for the mainstream

I think it's safe to say that Logitech has been crafting some really solid gaming mice lately. Back in March, I reviewed the G703 and G903 gaming mice, which both come with all the bells and whistles: RGB lighting, Powerplay support, HERO sensors, and...

LIGHTSPEED technology at a more mainstream price ; Long life from a single AA battery ; Simple customization through Logitech Gaming Software ; $60 is a good price for what you get

RGB fanatics should look elsewhere ; G305 feels a little lightweight and small in the hand

Logitech G305 Review: A Great Wireless Gaming Mouse

The Logitech G305 is a simple, elegant mouse. It's small and uncluttered, and its wireless features are as intuitive as they come. If you have a ton of money to throw around, and require customizable buttons and lots of pretty colors, the $150 G900 is...

Comfortable, sleek design ; Great wireless features ; Inexpensive ; Easy to use

No Bluetooth connectivity ; Requires AA batteries

Those who want an inexpensive, high-quality, no-frills wireless gaming mouse will find a lot to like in the Logitech G305.
