Gigabyte Aivia M8600 review

This long-lasting wireless gaming mouse will ensure you never run out of power

Multiple speed settings ; Looks smart and feels comfortable ; Battery life is excellent

Expensive ; Low on customisation options

This mouse is expensive, but it's well designed and performs brilliantly.

Gigabyte Aivia M8600

While the Gigabyte Aivia M8600 gaming mouse offers customization and all the bells and whistles to keep an avid gamer happy, its heavy design makes it difficult to wield.

Ambidextrous design. Wired and wireless option.100-6600 dpi.1,000Hz report rate. Carrying case. Customizable software. Up to five different profiles

Weight makes the mouse a little unwieldy. Uncomfortable design. Scroll wheel very resistant. Wired cable tough to remove

Gigabyte Aivia M8600

In the moments before I sat down in the office to write this review, Wes and I wrestled with the web of cords that we hide behind the monitor. Given the opportunity, I think any user would jump on the chance to eliminate even one from that mess....

Despite not including an action for profile swapping, Gigabyte did include some really cool basic functions to program to keys. Things such as double-click, close program, and 8x speed are interesting ways to customize the mouse. That last option is...

Gigabyte Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse

The Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse from Gigabyte is a great mouse that is more than capable of improving your performance and experience during hours upon hours of gaming. It is priced around 104 dollars and is a great first step into the...

Aivia's new gaming mouse is a great first step into the gaming market of mice. The M8600 offers great features and accessories that are unparalleled by other gaming mice. However, there are some adjustments that Aivia should make to future products....

GIGABYTE Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse Review

Another serious contender in the world of high performance gaming mice makes its way to the scene from GIGABYTE, carrying their GHOST macro engine and much more.

Technical Issues

Not an awful mouse, I like some things about it, but it isn't the best thing out there. This is obviously Gigabyte's first mouse, because it does have issues.

I like the way it feels, some people say it feels like a brick but I like it. It looks like it would be uncomfortable, but it really isnt. Battery life is long, and battery adds good weight to the mouse

Several ; The speed increase button, yeah thats good and great, but 10 seconds later it goes back to the old speed ; The battery keeps being used, even when the mouse is not in use. On my old king of wireless mice logitech G, if you walked away, it...

I Wouldn't Pay $5.00 For This Mouse

Gigabyte needs to stick with motherboards and get out of the mouse business.

The mouse looks great

Nothing works right. When clicking, the mouse pointer always moves a couple of pixels selecting something different the expected. When releasing the left mouse button, the release is delayed causing the selection of additional unintended objects

GIGABYTE AIVIA M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse

Bought this mouse as a successor to my trust old Logitech G7 that I've used for years. The hot-swappable batteries are almost a must for me now, and this is one of the few mice with such a feature. Although the swapping is not quite as quick/painless...

Swappable Batteries ; wireless with no lag ; high dpi ; good feeling scroll wheel ; tilt-scroll wheel buttons ; responsive clicks ; plenty customizable ; charging station with long life batteries ; comes with 2 braided cords, one for charging station,...

Design flaws ; Why make the charging station not able to hold the secondary battery and the mouse at the same time - this wouldn't have been hard to do ; Ridge in middle of the mouse is hardly ergonomic, likely not comfortable for palm-grip mouse users...

I CALL IT LIKE I SEE IT, I SEE IT FOR WHAT IT IS

The team that designed this has probably never used a gaming mouse. This is WAY too flimsy. Gaming mice need to be rugged. They take beatings. Put this in a backpack, it will end up in pieces. In my opinion, the positive reviews of this mouse were...

Didn't get around to posting this updated review for a while. I wrote the very first review on this product. This is the final review ; Braided USB cables were nice ; The rechargeable batteries that can be charged without plugging in the mouse is...

Three of these things lasted just over a one and a half months, including the time between shipping one back and receiving the next one. The quality was consistent between the three of them ; The scroll wheel suddenly free-spins and stopped working...

Powerful and pretty awesome

Great mouse. It is VERY sensitive. And the only real con to it is the software that is in control of the mouse settings. I usually have to turn the sensitivity way down to use it. And the worst part is that the software doesn't really save your...

Rechargeable batteries(x2) ; Color options ; Design(also a con) ; Optics ; Quality/Construction ; Dual Mode(wireless/wired)
