Genius PenSketch 9x12

Traditionally, graphics tablets have always been prohibitively expensive, especially if you want to get some decent features for your money. Things are starting to change though, and you can now pick up entry-level tablets for the price of a new PC game.

Great value for money, Good surface area

Graphics tablets are a sound investment for anybody working in the creative industries. It's a particular boon if you're a Photoshop user; the ability to use a pressure-sensitive stylus to create selections in Quick Mask mode, more naturally airbrush...

It's great for a while

Hmm, in the time I've owned this tablet its been a great way for anyone learning how to draw to improve. I've never really been one for tiny tablets that are about the size of an eraser but this fits the bill. You can change the screen size so it'll be...

It's a great tablet that is about the size of a piece of paper. The sensitivity is great as well and the pen is fairly nice. I didn't actually read the manual and it installed just fine, you just have to remember to update the drivers

I didn't really like how after about 3 months the pen kinda went to oblivion. Sometimes it goes haywire and either highlights everything or doesn't let me click, that may be because my laptop is old or I need to change the nib

GREAT TABLET!!

I don't use the mouse so i won't speak to it's quality. But the pen is pretty sturdy and the pad itself seems to be tough enough to last a good long while.

Everything works as advertised. I'm not a professional artist so I can't claim this tablet is the best on the market for that purpose. This tablet is accurate, decent software, no lag, good pressure sensativity, and well built. Even the pen is pretty good

my custom hot button for ctrl-a seems to click on and off pretty quick. Probably just a setting I haven't figured out yet though

Fun to use and the right price.

The mousewheel one the tiny mouse doesn't rotate -- it's really more like a spring-returned rocker switch.

Great price for a 12x9 tablet.

Have to replug it to get X to see the device.

The mousewheel one the tiny mouse doesn't rotate -- it's really more like a spring-returned rocker switch. The pen-sensitive "buttons" at the top of the tablet don't seem to work in Linux -- not a big deal to me.

Great price for a 12x9 tablet ; Good resolution on both the tablet ; and the pen. Works under Linux with the "evdev" driver for the X.org X Window System (wizardpen driver didn't work for me) ; Fun to use. Comes with batteries for the pen and mouse

Have to replug it to get X to see the device ; The tip is a little wobbly ; Tilting the pen more than approximately 30 degrees can cause the position to change significantly ; The USB cable is almost too short. If you have a tower computer sitting...
