Review: Adesso CyberTablet 6400

If you've never used a tablet before and want to see what they're like, or you're looking for a tablet for light-duty photo retouching and illustration, the Adesso CyberTablet 6400 is a pretty good deal.

For starters, the box lists a dozen or so features on the front and back. Unfortunately, over half of the features listed are duplicates (USB connection is listed as a feature three times). Between the Web site and the box, I couldn’t tell the size of...

Adesso Cybertablet 6400 6” x 4” Graphics Tablet Review

Anyway, today for review I have the Adesso Cybertablet 6400 6” x 4” Graphics Tablet, which is more than just a graphics tablet, the pen has built in mouse buttons so it can act as a mouse, and Adesso included a small travel mouse to be used with the...

Lots of fun ; Works well for drawing, writing notes, editing etc ; Well made ; Includes mouse ; Programmable function keys ; Very sensitive ; Pen works as mouse ; Nice bundled software ; Small and portable ; Low price, very much worth the price

Some apps do not work correctly with multi-monitor setup ; Handwriting recognition could be better

Overall the Adresso Cybertablet is a great product with lots of features and functionality that most people will appreciate, the included suite of software is very useful as well.

A solid product

For anyone that is adverse to spending the money for a Wacom (they are great tablets but pricey) this is a good choice. Low priced enough for the amatuer photographer to invest in.

Does everything you could expect from a low cost tablet I have found it to be capable of working in photoshop for long hours wit no problems with it. The ability to program in 10 common tools is very nice. The price is great

I use up batteries quicker than I thought I might, but I use it ALOT

Eh... Not so much

Not as good as the Wacom products, sometimes glitchy.

ADESSO CyberTablet 6400 6.25" x 4.75" Active Area USB Tablet - Retail

Easy to use once you get the hang of it.

As said previously the pad is wired to the USB port of your computer.
