ViewSonic XG2703-GS QHD G-Sync Monitor Review

Of the two adaptive-refresh technologies, G-Sync was first to market, but its price premium made progress and acceptance a slow process. But once FreeSync became available, it seemed that every manufacturer was jumping on the gaming monitor bandwagon....

165Hz ; G-Sync ; Ghost-free overdrive ; Build quality ; Styling

ULMB too dark ; Out-of-box gamma ; Sample-specific uniformity issues

Slight flaws aside, the ViewSonic XG2703-GS is an excellent monitor. Benchmark tests reveal a few problems but they are easy to fix. And the uniformity issue we observed did not detract from real-world content in the slightest. The gameplay experience...

ViewSonic XG2703-GS Gaming Monitor Review

We take a look at ViewSonic's 1440P 27" PC Gaming Monitor with a 4ms response time, G-Sync and 165Hz refresh rate.

165Hz ; Nvidia G-Sync ; 12.2ms input lag ; Stunning IPS panel ; Superb blacks, contrasts and colour reproduction

Far too expensive ; Fiddly menu system ; 27" may be too small for some users

ViewSonic is not a brand immediately on every PC Gamer’s mind when considering a gaming monitor, but it should be. The XG2703-GS available for around £680 gives you a 27” 1440P monitor with IPS display, G-Sync, 165Hz refresh rate, 4ms response time and...

ViewSonic XG2703-GS

The ViewSonic XG2703-GS is a 27-inch monitor that uses a speedy 165Hz refresh rate and Nvidia's G-Sync technology to deliver stellar gaming performance. For the price, color accuracy could be better, and we wish there were more video ports.

Great gaming performance. Speedy refresh rate. Nvidia G-Sync enabled.

Expensive. Middling color accuracy. Only two video inputs.

Conclusion If smooth gaming performance is a top priority, the ViewSonic XG2703-GS is definitely worth a look. With Nvidia's G-Sync technology and a 165Hz refresh rate, the display performed wonderfully in our gaming tests, delivering stutter-free...

ViewSonic XG2703-GS Review: Colorful, and Expensive

A quad-HD monitor with relatively few extra features, the XG2703-GS costs more than it should. For less than $700, you can get a handful of perfectly decent 4K monitors, like the Acer B286HK ($500) or the Philips Brilliance 288P ($450). There's also...

Excellent color gamut and accuracy ; Sensible presets ; Includes G-Sync

Too expensive ; Confusing menu navigation ; A bit bulky

The ViewSonic XG2703-GS boasts an attractive array of colors, lots of helpful presets and G-Sync capabilities, but asks too high a price.
