Did not meet my low expectations

I knew I was getting a budget 4K display. I knew to expect poor color quality and a modest amount of input lag. I set my expectations pretty low for this one. It failed to meet even those. Stay away from this one.

4K resolution ; HDMI & Mini DisplayPort

Poor color quality ; 30 Hz @ 4K makes for really bad input lag, even for simple mousing & typing ; Glitches out multiple times a day, sometimes every few minutes, for no apparent reason. The glitches manifest as full- or partial-screen flickering,...

Big no no

Got about 30 of these, 12 went back. 2 went back twice. Half of those that came back after repair didn't have the back panel properly snapped in (!), wonder why. This model should have never been out of the market. It's an expensive half baked product...

Great picture ; Good for looking at something that doesn't have movement. If it has movement... prepare for a choppy experience

Gross 30hz refresh rate (!) ; Underdog reliability ; Terrible Viewsonic customer support

Solid 4k monitor

This will work for gaming and productivity. Would 60 hertz be better? Yes. Do you want to pay for that right now? I didn't and this is working just fine for me.

4k gaming with very little to no ghosting. I mainly wanted this for 4k video editing to finally be able to see my videos at their full resolution. For that it is awesome. I fired up BL2 pre-sequel to see how gaming would be. I set the game to native...

Tends to need to resynch display after waking up from sleep. I believe this is more of a system issue and the monitor. I have not fully calibrated it but it looks very blue. But all tv's and monitors are shipped like that

Nice on the eyes

Make sure you buy the right cables to get to max resolution.

Gorgeous colors, phenomenal resolution, wicked refresh rate

I bought 2 and had 1 sporadically fail out of the box (Infant Mortality)[Poor QA]. I hate the monitor stands, you lose 8" of desk space, yes there's a dual mount in my future

Great monitor, lots and lots of pixels

Windows 7 has an over shoot problem with the mouse being turn up to almost max on speed for the resolution. And using screen scaling causes the mouse to have a very bad lag. But that is a windows problem not a screen problem. You do need modern video...

The monitor it self feels will made. Control buttons are up front easily found. Speakers are the best built-in I have heard. I will say it again lots and lots of pixels. 157 DPI WOW. The size of a spread sheet you can at once is massive. And 3 full...

The DP cables and port is useless the HDMI cable is maxed out at 4K. So you can not daisy chain a 4k monitor with any thing. Could save money buy not including them

Great 4k display.

Make note that this monitor support daisy chaining with displayport in and displayport out. Don't confuse the ports or will just get a blank screen if only using one monitor. Also not that displayport carries sound so you don't need the headphone jack...

Screen resolution is so good that text is almost too small requiring font scaling in windows control panel. Upside is screen real estate is immense allowing for many open windows and is great for photo editing. Also no hot/dead pixels that I can discern

Non I can think of
