Sharp LL-151-3D - 3D LCD Monitor

Sharp is pushing the display boundaries with it's latest flat panel monitor. If you want to view 3D images, but don't want to wear silly glasses, this is the screen for you.

There is no doubt that the LL-151-3D does precisely what it claims to, and does this impressively well. But you need to work with it in order to get its best performance – not least by finding a position away from a window, and justifying its price tag...

PC Plus review: Sharp LL-151-3D

The LL-151-3D is a decent start to what is potentially a hugely important new technology. It's not ready for the mass market, but prices will fall, and Sharp says there's plenty of content on the way. If this is right, perhaps Joseph D'Almedia's old 3D gl

Sharp LL-151-3D monitor

Sharp LL-151-3D

Sharp's new monitor still costs a lot more than a standard 2D model but brings 3D within reach of educational, scientific, and gaming users.

Goggle-free 3D images on your desktop. Easy to use with many applications. Generally good 2D image quality.

Limited viewing angle. Expensive compared with 2D models. Only one signal input connector.

The Sharp LL-151-3D costs a lot more than a standard 2D 15-inch LCD display. But if you can use 3D effects for work or play, this is an impressive monitor.
