Planar PX2411W

It's easy to be seduced by the sheer size of a 24-inch LCD screen—any display that big just looks like it means business. And there was a time when large LCD panels were almost exclusively high-performance parts. That's no longer the case. As the...

Telescoping neck. Um. Big screen

No HDCP over DVI; picture hitch, ghosting; expensive

So it’s of little use to us that the PX2411W offers some convenient features, such as a telescoping neck for height adjustment and a variety of OSD options. Or that it performed passably in DisplayMate and functions acceptably for web surfing, movie...

I love this monitor

This is my first LCD panel. It exceeds my old Hitachi SuperScan CRT by far in almost every respect except for gaming. I'm not a big gamer but I enjoy a good first-person shooter and lcd panels are simply not as fast as CRTs. While I wouldn't call it...

Zero dead pixels. No input lag. Solidly made. Sturdy stand with very smooth tilt and height adjustments. Bright - I have the brightness at 50% and everybody still comments on how bright the display is. Good viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical....

Slight backlight bleed in all four corners. It's only noticeable on very dark and black backgrounds. The stand needs just a little bit more range in the tilt adjustment along the horizontal axis. A vertical axis adjustment would be nice, too

Tough To Beat

I've had about 20 LCD monitors, and now have 7... all current ones are UXGA with IPS panels. This one runs as cool as a 19", no extraneous electronic sounds. I'm a fan of the glossy screen, so I'd prefer to see less texture to the matte finish. This...

No dead pixels. Plenty of Brightness.. turned mine down to 35. Contrast is excellent. No backlight bleed. No input lag with mouse cursor, but not used for gaming. Sharp text. Bright colors. Price is right

Stand is height and tilt adjustable, only. Has fewer input options than others, but priced accordingly

Nice but

Nice big screen, no lag

Needs one hell of a video card

High quality monitor...

I'd buy this monitor over and over again, and it is priced well too. If your into video games and you want a 24" LCD, get this monitor. I couldn't detect any input lag (I could just be slow).

I wasn't really prepared for the sheer size of a 24" widescreen monitor. It is really impressive. No stuck pixels, no dead pixels, & high quality construction. The stand is well built and sturdy. The image is near perfect. I'm amazed at how accurate...

The stand doesn't swivel side to side. Not really a big deal though
