The Philips Brilliance 439P9H is a huge widescreen monitor – but is it any good for creatives?
Effective widescreen design ; Great contrast and sRGB quality ; Broad feature set
Widescreen is divisive ; Has uniformity issues ; Can’t handle AdobeRGB or HDR
The Philips Brilliance 439P9H’s widescreen design is a double-edged sword, but this screen does serve up great sRGB image quality and has a broad range of features

Sometimes, less is more. But not when it comes to screen size. Desk space and graphics acceleration
Stunning 49in width.
Expensive.
The Philips Brilliance 498P9Z delivers huge super ultrawide gaming capabilities. There are gaming features missing in the OSD, but the core capabilities make this an extremely competent jack-of-all trades – if you can afford it.

The curved Brilliance lives up to its name, defeating all-comers in the process
Outstanding whites ; Blazing brightness ; Support for multiple PCs ; Robust port choices
Overly cool default colour temperature

One of the promises of USB-C was that it could be the It's a bit of a monster, find out if this screen can justify the high asking price.
4K resolution on 31.5in screen.
Out-of-box colour accuracy merely mediocre.
The Philips Brilliance 329P9H has some great features, including one-cable USB-C docking, and is capable of great colour accuracy. With the recent £200+ price drop it is definitely now a WORTH BUYING product.

If you thought a 21:9 ultrawide monitor like ASUS's ProArt PA34VC was pretty extreme, think again. P You like big monitors? be sure to check this one out ! its MASSIVE!
It’s really, really wide.
Colour not as accurate as you would want in a screen this price.
The Philips Brilliance 499P9H will keep you wide-eyed with wonder at its immense 32:9 aspect. It’s not perfect, but you do get a lot of curved screen for your money, and major bragging rights.

The Philips Brilliance 272P7VUBNB is a very bright productivity monitor with a built-in docking station that does well with still and moving images.

The Philips Brilliance 499P9H offers a winning combination of a gigantic, ultra-wide curved screen—shining with a bright, vivid image—and extras like a Windows Hello-compatible webcam and a built-in KVM switch.
Immense ultra-wide screen with 5K horizontal resolution. Bright image. Good color fidelity. Supports HDR. USB-C power delivery. Built-in KVM switch.
On the pricey side. Buttons, instead of joystick, for OSD control.
Bottom Line: The Philips Brilliance 499P9H offers a winning combination of a gigantic, ultra-wide curved screen—shining with a bright, vivid image—and extras like a Windows Hello-compatible webcam and a built-in KVM switch.

The 23-inch wide-screen Philips Brilliance 230WP7 display performs quite well and offers businesses some useful extras, but what it offers is too sparse to justify its high price.
Excellent image quality; ergonomic adjustability; USB hub; optional software for monitoring over a network; easy-to-navigate onscreen menu.
Expensive; clunky pivoting action; disappointing DVD playback.
The 23-inch wide-screen Philips Brilliance 230WP7 display performs quite well and offers businesses some useful extras, but its offerings are too sparse to justify its high price.
