I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought mine

Initially, it appeared to work on my Windows 7 64bit system but soon it was only any use for telling me the temperature of the room I was in.

Not very good at all.

If you don't mind close guesstimates then this monitor works okay, however it is not very close to reality and often out by a good 15-20% on energy usage in any given year. Also, I use windows 64 bit OS and connecting the device to upload it's monthly...

works for me

I installed the sensor on my meter cable with ease, and the app on my 64bit Windows 7 PC (windows recognises that it is a 32bit app). The display is a bit tiresome but I have got it showing the current (last 2 minutes) current, plus the "this day"...

I just use mine to get an instant view of what I'm using. I forgot, however, that I have a solar energy installation and the Owl can't of course tell whether energy is flowing in or out of my property, which negates the whole purpose. So the moral is:...

Not the easiest.

Have used this for a couple of years now and it doesn't get any easier to use.It needs adjusting for daylight saving which is an unnecessary nuisance,When working way through the menu it is easy to go past the item you need and you cannot go back. So...

Not very accurate

I must admit I had no problems installing the product on Windows 7 x64. My complaints are the rubbish software which is totally inadequate for proper monitoring - I ended up writing my own. Their software is full of bugs and very poorly tested in my...

Failed to work

  (Rating Hidden)

As I have a shielded mains supply cable, the OWL failed to work with it and this was not easily mentioned on the box or your review I'm afraid to say. I will not be going for one of these again, and have since gone with an Energy Power Meter that tells...

Works brilliantly and OWL provide excellent support

  (Rating Hidden)

We have an unusual electrical installation, but OWL were willing to talk me through the correct way to connect the monitor. The display unit is clear and easy to understand. Inputting all the information can be a bit of a pain (would be easier if it...

Not recommended

Admit to not using most of this product's features but nevertheless found issue with some of the basic ones. The sender clip doesn't fit the primary power cable (prior to EB fuse) as the cable is too thick, it's bulk prevents fitting to the live cable...

Only works if you have the right mains cable

  (Rating Hidden)

Seemed a nice enough product; but the sender works only if you have a consumer unit fed with separate live and neutral cables. My electricity is supplied via a great thick shielded cable so I can't use the unit at all. I wish Which? reviews pointed out...
