The Motorola Edge+ (2022) is overall an excellent phone, but it suffers from a mediocre camera and a lack of waterproofing.
Beautiful appearance Great display Fast and powerful Excellent speakers Long battery life
Mediocre camera Relatively poor cellular reception No water resistance
“The Motorola Edge+ (2022) is a very good phone that unfortunately does little to distinguish itself, and which suffers from a lack of water resistance and a mediocre camera.”

Moto played it straight with this one.
Top-tier processor and excellent performance ; Good battery performance ; Fast charging brick included ; Extremely smooth 144Hz screen
No IP rating, just water resistant ; Only two OS updates and three years of security patches ; No telephoto camera
The 2022 Motorola Edge Plus features a big 6.7-inch screen, 5G, a sizable 4,800mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel main camera with stabilization. Performance is excellent, but the phone doesn’t do enough to stand out from the premium Android competition.

The Motorola Edge Plus (2022) has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, super-fast refresh rate and colorful screen in its favor. But too many key features are missing.
In the end, the Motorola Edge Plus (2022) finds itself in the in-between land for smartphones — not quite enough features to go up against the very best flagships, too big a price tag to be considered a midrange alternative. If Motorola really wants to...

Vivid, fluid screen
Motorola made some questionable choices when it cobbled together the Edge Plus (2022). The company clearly wants to play in the same space as today’s market leaders — at least when it comes to what it charges for its flagship. The Edge Plus costs the...

In an attempt to return to the high-end smartphone space for 2022, Motorola has delivered the Edge+ (2022), a device that was actually first shipped in China at the end of 2021, but is now in the US. Don't let the lag time in-between launches worry...
I know that I just tried to answer this above, so obviously I don’t know if you should buy a Motorola Edge+. Here’s one way to look at the Edge+ — If this were a phone I was considering, it would probably be because I was sick of Samsung’s excessively...

For a basic Android phone, it has some good qualities. But night shots will be a dealbreaker for most.
The Motorola Edge+ is a slab of a smartphone. Whereas Samsung and Google are on their respective design journeys, Motorola has stuck with a mostly plain chassis design. There’s a lovely hue to the Cosmos Blue review unit I have in hand, and you can get...

Patience is a virtue, something Motorola unfortunately has not learned. The otherwise excellent Motorola Edge Plus suffers from several unnecessary errors,
The highest performance we have measured, and an impressively good battery life. In addition, the phone delivers very good sound, and the camera generally takes good pictures. The screen has a 90 Hz refresh rate.
Serious camera software bugs make optical zoom unusable. 5G is only activated on a network in Scandinavia, and the very curved screen is definitely not user-friendly. The screen resolution is also in the low layer based on the price.
We were looking forward to testing the Motorola Edge +. As mentioned, this is the first top mobile from the former American mobile phone manufacturer in a lifetime, and therefore it has been a frustrating experience to be served a mobile that on paper...
