Great 4:3 PC monitor

Refurbished units get a bad rap sometimes. I took a chance on this generic monitor because it was a 4:3 ratio monitor. I prefer those for web browser and office work instead of the 16:9 wide screen PC monitors. I am very happy with my purchase. I...

1 - 1600x1200 resolution ; 2 - D-Sub, DVI-D, Analog & Digital ; 3 - Tilt & swivel ; 4 - Looks perfect w/ no scratches ; 5 - Low price

1 - You have to be careful moving the monitor around. It detaches from the round metal base easily ; 2 - No HDMI port

Great under daily use

Used it as a replacement monitor for a MAME cabinet I built and under daily use for the past 5 months has been working excellent.

Low Price

8ms response where most monitors I've purchased were 5ms or less, but not sure if I could tell the difference or not

Great, low price, aux monitor

I attached this to a multi-monitor stand. Rotated it to a portrait view to accompany my 30" Gateway monitor on its left side. I use it in my tests of Windows 8 as my primary Metro Start menu display, freeing up the main 30" monitor. On the Window 7...

Price is right. VESA universal mount. No specialized drivers required

Heavy, clunky stand. Limits desk space if you don't use a multi-monitor stand. Probably need two people for setup if a multi-monitor stand is used for display

Sweeeeeet! Excellent picture...

I don't know if I'm more impressed with Newegg for offering it, or with LG, the actual brand, given that the sticker on the back shows it to be a 2007 Flatron L200ME-BF. The actual screen area measures 16"x12". Native resolution: 1600x1200.

Absolutely beautiful picture, no flaws at all. Rich color spectrum and deep blues and greens are immediately clear. Compared to my other monitors, a Westinghouse and an Acer X223W (Neweggs, of course), this refurbished unit may be the best of them. The...

Came with a VGA cable, rather than a DVI, but even the VGA connection looked stunning. So bright at normal setting, I turned down the Brightness to just 5% for my preference

Great deal!

I use my dual monitor setup to develop software. At first, I was just looking to buy a couple 4:3 monitors to replace my existing dual monitor system. Unlike my previous monitors, just I wanted both models to match so I could line them up nicely on my...

Great price! My two units have no flaws and a great picture! (Some tweaking of the settings was needed to make the colors match on both units.) I'm used to 1280x1024 so the extra resolution is a nice bonus

The stand that comes with these is a little high off the desk even at the lowest position, (when arranged horizontally) but I intend to make my own stand anyway. (Which will be easy with these.) Also although I love 1600x1200 resolution, the inevitable...

Great deal

If you are in need of a 4:3 display there is not a better deal. Unit seamed to be in good shape with no signs of use. No dead pixels, brightness seemed decent, nothing that would blind you. For 75 bucks free shipping it's a steal. I am very glad I...

Very heavy, not a thin panel. It's over 5 years old. Did not come with a dvi cable

Very nice monitor

I'm so happy to get this monitor at this price. The next lowest option with 1600x1200 resolution is 400 dollars, and it goes up rapidly from there.

Works perfectly, with no edge bleed that I can see ; Looks brand new -- no scratches or marks of any kind ; Came with DVI cable even though the photo shows it with VGA ; Display looks good viewed from pretty much any angle ; Not widescreen! The 4:3...

None, really. It's much heavier than the other similarly sized LCDs in my house, but since I won't be moving it around that doesn't matter

Great Bargain

I think this is one of the great high end LCD monitor bargains from Newegg. We have seen, from the last 4-5 years, MFGers are just producing cheap monitors for higher margins. I would rather buy an older monitor because they are just simply made...

I was a bit apprehensive about buying refurbished monitors and this was my first purchased. It worked right out of the box. Only "defects" that I can see, so far, are some scratches on the base and the front part of bezel. The color is a bit washed out...

The first DVI port I plugged into gave me a no signal. Not sure why but I plugged it into the 2nd port and all is well

Great bargain

One of the best flat panel monitor purchase I have ever made. Highly recommended for those looking for IPS or PVA panel monitors.

High-quality IPS screen at bargain price. Heard that the panel is high-end s-IPS instead of cheaper e-IPS but did not double check it. Very satisfied with the image quality. Best for pdf file reading work. 90 degree rotation. Good color reproduction...

Heavy and thick. No LED backlighting but the production date is stamped to be 2007 for mine. Some scratch on the stand but this is refurb and I don't care at all. I was lucky with the panel --- no dead pixels at all. Don't expect any HDMI port but DVI...

Good deal

If you get a perfect one, these monitors are a steal at the $90 I paid (up to $95 on Newegg right now); if you get one less than perfect, they are still a very good deal and provide a much better picture than anything else you'll find for anywhere near...

The less common, still much better than 16:9, aspect ratio of 4:3 (16:12 to use the same kinds of numbers); nice S-IPS screen; 1600x1200 in a 20" screen gives a pixel pitch of .255, which is much better than most of the 16:9 1920x1080 screens available...

Edge bleeding from the backlight is something that some people don't notice much, though it is common, and most screens have some degree of it. One of the monitors had a very acceptable level of edge bleed, only visible with a totally black screen,...
