Dell goes easy on our eyes with both screen and price
Sturdy adjustable stand ; Viewing angle and contrast don't disappoint ; Suitable for professional use ; Affordable for an IPS panel

As the follow-up to 2009's Dell UltraSharp U2410 , the U2412m has quite a bit to live up to. I expected Dell to stay on its high-end and expensive course it had already plotted for the series. Not surprisingly, I'll admit to being a bit disappointed...
The Dell UltraSharp U2412m has great performance with excellent ergonomic support and a robust and easy-to-navigate OSD with tons of options for customization. It also has five USB ports, and it's currently available for about $350.
HDMI is missing from the connection options, and performance-wise, it's not quite there compared with high-end, pro-grade IPS panels, especially when it comes to viewing angles.
With thoughtful design, great performance, and plenty of OSD features, the Dell UltraSharp U2412 fills its value quotient to the brim.

Something of a rarity these days, Dell's UltraSharp U2412M is a 24in monitor featuring a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in the classic 16:10 widescreen ratio.
The Dell UltraSharp U2412 delivers very good value for money and will appeal to anyone who needs to spend a lot of time in front of their monitor. It's not a multimedia display, but its excellent display quality and ergonomics make it great for design,...

Dell has released their new 24-inch U2412M monitor with eIPS panel, Edge LED backlight and 1920x1200 pixel resolution. The new U2412M is an addition to Dell's line-up of UltraSharp monitors and the current U2410 model will continue to exist as a...
IPS panel & picture quality; Fairly good out-of-box settings; Ergonomic adjustability; 16:10 format panel; Price; No serious clouding; Power consumption
Black depth not on par with VA panels; Dirty screen look ; Some overdrive trailing; Black gets lighter from wide angles; No HDMI
Dell’s new 24-inch U2412M comes with a smaller portfolio of input connectors and multimedia options compared to the more expensive Dell U2410. First of all Dell has removed the HDMI option. That might prove to be a problem if you are planning on...

The UltraSharp monitors have traditionally been one of Dell's top selling series for four simple reasons: size, quality, customer service and price.
High efficiency ; Price ; Good contrast performance ; Excellent calibration options lead TN-beating picture quality ; Menu layout is easy for beginners buttons ; Matte screen ; Improved stand
Slight blue shift even after calibration ; Relatively high real world Gray to Gray latency ; Occasional ghosting in gaming and movies ; Poor Default RGB color settings ; No HDMI input
Before getting to far into this conclusion, let’s get one thing out in the open: the U2412M just can’t compete against Dell's own U2410 or

Dell's 24in U2412M is expensive compared to its competitors, but for £299 you get an excellent build quality that suggests it'll survive the test of time. Featuring an IPS panel with backlight LED technology and 1920x1200 full HD resolution, there's a...

The Dell U2412M did well in our recent roundup of 23- and 24-inch monitors. It offers screen quality that's almost as good as that of the top-ranked HP ZR2440w, for a little less money. Plus, its design is flexible and efficient.
Ergonomically flexible design
Relatively expensive
The U2412M offers very good on-screen performance, multiple input types, a flexible design, and wide viewing angles.

The Dell UltraSharp U2412M is a feature-rich 24-inch monitor offering beautiful color reproduction and great off-angle viewing but its dark grayscale performance falls a bit short.
Very good color quality. Loaded with features. Affordably priced. Energy Efficient.
No HDMI port. Lacks auto-pivot support. Small text could be cleaner.
Conclusion The Dell UltraSharp U2412M is a well-appointed 24-inch display that offers the benefits of IPS technology at a reasonable price. Robust colors, wide viewing angles, and low power usage make this a fine choice for businesses looking to trim...

Dell has enjoyed a healthy reputation when it comes to displays in India, and it has been so at least over ...
The Dell UltraSharp U2412M, as it turns out is a brilliant monitor. Priced at Rs. 23,000 in India, the U2412M is a tad pricier than some IPS panels out there. There are a few things, however that make this display stand out - excellent performance in...
