Nice

As others have said, the colors may not be precise and you might have to play with the settings a bit, but this is not much of a con at this price point. This is great for gaming, surfing and watching videos. You really cannot beat this monitor for the...

Big! It's awe inspiring once you get it set up on your desk! The picture is nice and crisp and mine arrived with zero dead pixels. Response time is great and there is no ghosting at all while gaming

When you start up a game, if the resolution isn't the same as the desktops, the monitor tells you what input is selected via a pop up window. This only lasts about a second, but it's slightly annoying none-the-less. Some of the menu options don't work,...

Big Black and Beautiful

For this price, why the hell not. I have never heard of DCLCD before, and got scared when I saw the monitor was 'deactivated' here on Newegg. I called technical support using the number from DCLCD's website and it was answered by Sceptre techs. Which...

What can I say? It works like it should, it plays games with no input lag, and no ghosting. It is big as all hell. I will be testing 1080p tonight. I was watching Transformers in 720p and it was beautiful. The controls are simple, the monitor is sturdy...

Seems like the Dynamic Contrast option doesn't really do anything, at leat in the short time I have played with it

Awesome Screen!

I switched from a 19" CRT the difference is startling! When I use a DVI cable (that I purchased) the screen is fantastic! My eyes don't fatige even after 10+ hours a day! Don't bother with a VGA cable, you won't be using this baby to it's fullest...

Great price when I purchased it and now it's $50 less! So it's even better for you ; Look at the contrast ratio! The higher the better(at least to me)and you don't get much better than 4000:1 at this price

I only have one

AWESOME MONITOR!!!

This monitor looks great! With 2ms response time, there is no ghosting. It looks amazing running at a very high resolutions. It is a GREAT buy for a 24" Widescreen Monitor

None that I can think of

Decent Monitor

I had an issue where as my PC was logging onto my windows account the monitor would turn off or go black(normal) and not restart (not so normal). This only happened occasionally. 10% of the time it happened every time (Turning the monitor of and on...

Low Price and High Resolution ; No dead pixels. Everything works well with no "Real Issues". I'd buy another one

Color- as some of the other reviewers may have stated when viewing the monitor at angles there appears to be some color shift. This is more evident when the monitor is tilted up slightly or it is being viewed from below slightly. Some may have RMAed...

Good monitor for a good price

Menu isn't all that better than the Westinghouse. Picture quality is virtually identical. It's the cheapest, best rated monitor for a reason - because it's a good deal! It also comes with all the necessary wires and connections. I don't know why...

I had initially purchased the Westinghouse 24" monitor. However there is an DVI-HDMI connection issue that won't allow me to boot in this mode. So I RMA'd that monitor and exchanged if for this one which has a direct DVI input. Problem solved! Great...

Some minor issues - I don't know who presets the color and picture attributes at the factory, but you may need to futz around with this until you're satisfied with the image. Once you are, you'll never look back

Minor Problems

Made by Sceptre (engraved on the back). Tilt and height adjustments. Bright blue power/status LED. Control buttons are on the bottom edge and not the front. Some of the OSD menus aren't enabled for reasons I can't fathom.

Large monitor for the price ; Seems nice and bright. Good color ; No noticeable ghosting

Came with 1 dead pixel. Thankfully this pixel isn't very noticeable ; The monitor autoswitches between the two inputs when it determines that one source is not sending a signal anymore. This wouldn't be a problem except getting it to switch back...

Good purchase so far....

Upgraded to this from a 19 inch Hitachi CRT. Yes really! I thought I was prepared for native res with an 8800GTS but even that isn't ready for all games at 19x12.

No dead pixels ; Huge not too bright screen ; DCR really gives the screen life ; Good price ; Games that look awesome so far DX 9: Crysis, BIOSHOCK, Titan Quest, HL2, Oblivion, FEAR...no ghosting..the detail is amazing ; Instruction manual: gives very...

There are a 3 tear shaped clear spots on the monitor about 5mm. Only noticeable on white background, I'm researching this

It's a SCEPTRE

Stop listening to reviews from people who can't set their products up right. Come to Eggxpert and get an informed opinion.

Ginormous. Seriously huge. Blacks are black, colors are accurate (though not photo grade), price is right, no ghosting ; This is not some 3rd party monitor. It is a Sceptre, and it is comparable to the Sceptre 24" also on Newegg

Not a photo grade monitor. What do you expect
