After having a string of successes with a myriad of NEC CRT displays I naturally assumed that I would have a similar experience when I chose the NEC MultiSync LCD1810X. Alas, I most certainly did not.

This display is visually hard to distinguish from an 18-inch flat panel, but your wallet will notice the difference for sure. The pivot screen feature is a highly worthwhile bonus which makes an already good product even better.

The Memory Frame is an excellent concept and is of a very high built quality, but it has some severe drawbacks. The LCD module is simply not up to the job - which is rather puzzling, as this is also the most important component.
