The BenQ EX3203R has HDR, FreeSync and a curve. Can this gaming screen do it all?
Excellent contrast and black levels ; Mature design ; Plenty of features ; HDR support
Minimal HDR impact ; Middling colour quality ; A little expensive
The BenQ EX3203R's HDR has limited impact, but this screen fights back with consistent excellence elsewhere

The BenQ EX3203R is a nicely crafted gaming screen with lots of inputs, a bright and colourful screen and a 144Hz refresh. But could the price be its critical weakness?

The curved-panel BenQ EX3203R is a 32-inch-class entertainment monitor with a bright image, accurate colors, and more gaming features than you might think at a casual glance.
Large screen with QHD resolution. 144Hz maximum refresh rate. AMD FreeSync 2. Accurate colors. Bright image.
Stand adjustability is limited to height and tilt. Ports out of sight and hard to reach. No built-in speakers. Minimal HDR effect.
The BenQ EX3203R is a 32-inch entertainment monitor with a bright image, accurate colors, and some good gaming features.

A poor fit for gaming, on paper, but a low-priced powerhouse in reality.
Punchy colors ; Decent spec for gaming ; Lovely look and curved panel
Slightly lower response rate ; Lower end of HDR
A surprisingly great gaming performer, with vibrant colors and a quick, 144Hz screen.
