BenQ BL3201PH review

The BL3201PH is sure to please photo and video editors with its high color accuracy.

The BenQ BL3201PH is big, relatively inexpensive, and offers strong image quality in most respects. Yet it falls short of being a standout display, largely because of mediocre contrast.

BenQ BL3201PH

The BenQ BL3201PH is a massive 32-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor designed for CAD/CAM and graphic arts professionals. It delivers very accurate colors, wide viewing angles, and sharp 4K images.

Accurate colors. Sharp Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) image. Fully adjustable stand. Auto pivot.

Pricey. Dark-gray-scale performance could be better. Odd port placement.

Conclusion The BenQ BL3201PH is a solid choice for graphics professionals who require a big UHD screen with accurate colors and wide viewing angles. It offers a good selection of I/O ports and comes with a neat little control puck that makes it easy to...

A Review of the BenQ BL3201PH 32″ IPS LED 4K Monitor with 32-Inch LED-Lit Screen

When it comes to a wide range of technologies, BenQ doesn't usually disappoint and the BL3201PH 32 inch 4K monitor is no exception to this tendency. With a crisp, clear standard UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, this particular monitor delivers...

Great connectivity package ; Large screen size ; Excellent sRGB color gamut ; 16:9 aspect ratio perfect for gaming ; Great viewing at off-angles ; DisplayPort 1.2 and mini-DisplayPort 1.2

Utilitarian design without elegance ; Possible lag due to IPS ; Color rendering can be a bit off in some situations ; Slightly on the expensive side

Our bottom line about the BenQ BL3201PH is that while it offers a great package of features and very good overall quality, its poor contrast, limited digital color spectrum and somewhat slow response time make it less than perfect for hardcore gamers...

Beautiful Monitor

I missed out on the Xmas sale and had to buy the monitor at a competitors site. Turned out for the best, because they have a better return policy. So far I love this monitor. Coming from a 1080p monitor, it's like seeing an old NEC gas plasma monitor...

-4k Resolution at 60hz over display ports -Lots of USB 3 ports. -Extremely sturdy steel monitor support arm. -Stand it heavy and firm. Very little movement on desk when vibrated. -Easy to use external UI controller. setting buttons on monitor are...

Points of information: -The external control pad could use LED backlighting. -no HDMI 2.0 -My unit has slight light bleed in all 4 corner. -Use Gamma option 3 if you play any rapid pace FPS games that are graphically intense or you get ghosting. -Need...

Fantastic 4k 60hz 32" screen

The best total price I found for this screen was on newegg , this thing doesn't go down in price much nor often.

-60hz capable (with Displayport) -Beatutiful colors -Reading and browsing is simply great on 4k! Its so smooth I cannot see the pixels at all even up close!! -4k, awsome for computer use, you get 4 times more space than traditional 1080p LCDs on your...

The only thing i can think of, (**which is not related to the screen itself**), is 4k gaming. Right now with a Q6600 @3.6Ghz, 8gb ram and a nVidia GTX760, i could play 4k with some very easy-to-run games, ex. Fable Anniversary,,, I tried GTA5 @4k and...

BenQ BL3201PH

Running 2-23 inch monitors with this in the middle. Using a Geforce GTX 970 using HDMI to a 23", dvi to the other 23" and IPS included cable to the Benq. The benq wattage use is about the same as the TN panel in one of the 23" monitors.

Wow awesome monitor, can have 4 vm's open at once while trading stocks. Print is small but I am getting used to it. Win 10 scales font pretty well if needed. Gaming is not bad at all but I am not a gaming pro. Have not played any 4k video content on it...

None that I have found. SD reader works, usb3 with no issues connecting with included cable no issues at all.

looks great

32in is the perfect size for 4k resolution without dpi scaling.

Panel looks great. Contrast is excellent. No dead pixels or back light bleed. AG coating is minimal.

Makes your old monitor look like garbage.

Best Monitor I have ever owned

Until NVidia or AMD comes out with a new video card that can really handle 4K better, this is probably one of the best if not the best 4K monitor at this size you can buy. Some day we will have 4K at >120hz or Gsync/Freesync but no such monster now....

Drop dead gorgeous display...settings good right out of box ; Multiple connectivity options ; USB hubs ; Low power consumption (compared to my old HP ZR30w) ; Good for gaming even if monitor is capped at 60hz

Price is sort of high. I did not buy at New Egg for two reasons. I got it $200 cheaper at another supplier and their return policy is much better if you have bad pixels or problems. I used to buy exclusively from New Egg but on a purchase this I do not...

Such a shame

Great build quality. The monitor is the best I've ever used. 4K at 60Hz if you use a displayport cable. 4K at 30Hz if you use HDMI. The monitor has a range of connections and plenty of USB 3 ports. There's nothing that can be improved. So why only 1...
