AOC AGON AG27QG review: A fantastic 1440p gaming monitor with G-Sync and a 165Hz refresh rate
Excellent overall image quality ; Great gaming performance ; Better value than competition
Unexciting design ; Still a big upfront investment
The AG271QG looks great. Everything from colour accuracy and contrast to uniformity and viewing angles are spot on, as you’d hope for such a pricey display. It’s punchy, colourful and just generally a pleasure to look at.

A well-rounded gaming monitor with a high refresh rate
165Hz refresh rate ; G-Sync works spectacularly well ; Bright, clear IPS panel
IPS and G-Sync makes this an expensive proposition ; Massive external power brick ; The menus could use slightly more refinement
Aside from the very minor niggles we've mentioned, the AOC AG271QG is a winner. If you're looking for a display that has all the required technology for fast-paced gaming as well as a great image on the desktop, easily suitable for graphics-heavy...

A review of the AGON AG271QG, a gaming monitor that contradicts all the rules regarding the ideal panel technology for gaming.
If it weren't for the eye-watering price, we’d recommend that every gamer got one of these incredible screens. Punchy colours and G-Sync smoothness is a very tempting combination, especially when delivered in such a gorgeously engineered package.

In our latest review, we have probably the most spectacular gaming model from the AOC AGON range, namely the AGON AG271QG 165Hz 1440p IPS 27" G-SYNC gaming monitor
Expert review by : Christian Eberle (tomshardware.co.uk)
AOC made a bold introduction of its new line of premium-branded gaming monitors called Agon just recently. We've already reviewed the excellent AG271QX, a 27-inch screen with Freesync that works over a wide 30-144Hz range. Our only wish? That it was an...

Contrast ; Out-of-box accuracy ; No OSD controller ; Expensive
G-Sync looks likely to remain a stalwart of premium gaming displays for at least the near future. The AG271QG offers a full feature set and excellent performance for the money, especially when compared to the high-end offerings from enthusiast-catering...

Expensive.

AOC's 27-inch Agon AG271QG monitor delivers Nvidia G-Sync technology, a speedy refresh rate, and smooth gaming performance, but it doesn't give you the biggest bang for your buck.
Fast refresh rate. Excellent gaming performance. Nvidia G-Sync enabled. Stylish design. Fully adjustable stand.
Expensive. Limited video inputs. Weak speakers. Skewed color accuracy.
Conclusion Gamers will appreciate the AOC Agon AG271QG's good looks and 165Hz refresh rate, as well as its ability to eliminate screen tearing. Video inputs are in short supply on this monitor, and it lacks the gaming presets that you get with other...

Fantastic picture quality, g-sync is great feature.
Like all IPS panels, backlight bleed is still small issue. Mine came with little backlight bleed in bottom right corner, only noticable on black screen in dark room. Hence 9/10 for build quality.
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Utterly stunning picture quality. Vibrant colours. Gsync feature is very good.
