Telstra EasyTouch 4G Android phone

An easy to use Android phone that could use some further refinement

Good ergonomics ; Easy widgets are useful ; Decent battery life

Dim screen ; Poor quality camera ; Slight performance issues

First time smartphone users and seniors will find the Telstra EasyTouch 4G's custom designed widgets easier to use than most alternatives. However, we feel there could have been further customisation and the dim screen and poor quality camera are...

Telstra EasyTouch

Featuring an almost identical feature set to the F852, Telstra's latest Next G handset offers a 2-megapixel camera, a TransFlash card slot and a media...

Price, decent features list, customised home screen, user interface

Internal display, controls and keypad, no A2DP, proprietary headphones

The EasyTouch's personalised home screen is an excellent feature, but the rest of this handset is solid, without offering anything outstanding.

Telstra EasyTouch

A cute, Next G capable clamshell that performs well, but without any remarkable features the EasyTouch fails to make a lasting impression.

News headline ticker, HSDPA and Mobile TV, Good call quality

Small screen, Cheap plastic body

An affordable Next G phone that performs well, yet fails to stand out from the pack significantly. The small screen makes watching it difficult to watch mobile TV on the EasyTouch.

Telstra EasyTouch

I've had the phone for two weeks and, while I'm unlikely to ever love it, it seems to do everything pretty well. This is my second ZTE phone and in many ways it's much better than my previous Telstra ZTE model.

Screen display is crisp and clear; camera is slow to respond but takes OK pictures; my battery lasts about 5 days with average use - not bad at all. Call clarity is much better than previous models and have suffered no lock-up, call dropout or any...

Interface has gone backwards in some areas - you can't save a number from an SMS to contacts, you can't step one level back in many of the processes. Screen is difficult/impossible to read in strong sunlight

None

Battery life ; very elementary address book holds one number only for each contact and no address. My last phone would leave this for dead
