Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus review, price and release date: Tweaks in all the right places for Samsung's plus-size flagship smartphone.
Feels great for a big phone ; The OLED display is great and highly customisable ; Numerous camera features on offer
Iterative upgrade ; AR Emoji are just bad ; Some lag with Samsung’s software
Aside from the overall size, price and camera, the biggest difference between the two Galaxy S9 flagships are the size of their batteries. The 3500mAh cell inside the Galaxy S9 Plus is a nice upgrade over the 3000mAh cell in the regular S9, but...

Here's our full review of the Galaxy S9 Plus, with a big 6.2-inch display and specs that remain powerful years later. Is it still worth it in 2020?
Impressive low-light camera Better-placed fingerprint sensor Loud stereo speakers
Not all that different to S8 Plus AR Emoji mode is overrated Pricey for 0.4 in of extra screen
You won't find a bigger and better Android phone than the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, thanks to its oversized 6.2-inch curved screen and low-light-defeating dual-lens camera. Sure, it looks exactly like last year's S8 Plus, but it does fix the fingerprint...

Small tweaks and upgrades make an already excellent phone even better
The best screen on a smartphone ; Versatile dual-lens camera ; Fantastic performance ; Eye-catching design
Little has changed from last year
More evolution than revolution, but that’s still enough to make the S9+ the best big Android phone you can buy today

The Galaxy S9 Plus sets a new benchmark for super-sized Android phones, despite not much changing from last year's model
Standout dual-lens camera system ; Luxe 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display ; Better-placed fingerprint sensor
Similar to Galaxy S8 Plus ; More expensive than S9

It might be a chunk more expensive, but the Galaxy S9 Plus is the more interesting and impressive of the two. Find out if it's the right phone for you in our full review.

The Galaxy S9 is arguably Samsung's most iterative flagship ever but the plus model makes for a more meaningful upgrade, if only for that new...
Great performance ; Excellent cameras ; Stunning display
Iterative hardware and features ; Fingerprint magnet ; Expensive
The Galaxy S9+ might be the second-most (after the standard

It has one ace up its sleeve to top the fully equipped Galaxy S9.
The Galaxy S9 Plus one-ups the excellent Galaxy S9 with a second rear camera for taking portrait photos.
Battery life fell short of last year's model in our early tests, and the Galaxy S9 Plus suffers from the same underbaked extras as the smaller Galaxy S9. The dual-aperture camera tends to overexpose low-light photos in auto mode.
Samsung's Galaxy S9 Plus is the more robust Galaxy S9, and the one for power users to get.

Samsung's plus-sized S9 sees double with a dual lens, dual aperture camera
Stellar screen ; Top-notch camera ; Incredibly powerful
Almost unchanged design ; Uncomfortable to hold for some
A big, blockbuster phone that awesome at pretty much everything. It’ll probably be too big for most people though.

The new Samsung Galaxy S9+ has an enormous 6.2-inch screen and a large price tag to match. Have enough improvements been made to this year's model to make it worth considering over last year's Galaxy S8+? Read on to find out our first impressions based...

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is a beast of a smartphone – a great all-rounder and the pick of Samsung's 2018 flagships
All of which brings this review of the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus to a rather spongy, limp end. Don’t get me wrong, I do like the S9 Plus. It’s a great phone with two great cameras that shoot fabulous photos and video. It’s quick, too – the fastest...
