Hands-on Update: We re-address the quad-core S4 ahead of the April 26 release.
Stunning 5-inch Full HD screen ; Vast array of features ; Powerful quad-core processor
Plastic design ; A little bit expensive ; Limited storage space
In practice, based on our hands-on with the device, the Dual Camera shooting functionality is fast and responsive with both cameras tracking content quickly and with little fuss or motion blur. Bolstering the nifty new option, either camera can take...

Is the Samsung Galaxy S4 still a worthwhile buy?
Stunning screen ; Superfast processor ; Great camera
Feels cheaper than similar-priced phones ; 'Innovation' makes things too complex ; Slight UI issues
The Galaxy S4 is a stunning smartphone that won't let you down for a variety of tasks. It's not as good overall as the HTC One, especially when you factor in the design, but we love the S4 and would be proud to have it in our pocket.

Should you buy the ex-flagship over the all-new Galaxy range?
Range of innovations ; Super fast processor ; Great battery life
Too many gimmicks ; Too big for some ; Design lacks class

The Samsung Galaxy S4 performs significantly better than its predecessor but has pressing issues with its interface, sound and picture quality
Slim and light ; Impressive 5in Full HD screen ; 4G connectivity ; Capacity to expand storage up to a further 64GB ; Improved camera app
Poor sound quality ; Picture is on the warm side ; Rivals have greater detail and contrast levels ; Intermittent lag when multitasking ; Gesture and eye-tracking features won’t suit everyone
The Samsung Galaxy S4 performs significantly better than its predecessor but it has more pressing issues with its interface and sound and picture quality

It's one of the most anticipated handsets of the year, it's the follow-up to one of the best-selling phones of last year, and it has been hyped to the extent that Samsung is starting to look like it's going to teach Apple a thing or two about...
A brilliant phone in almost every way, subtly better design than SGS3, loads of new gesture and eye-tracking features, powerful
A bit complex now, incredibly expensive, not a huge leap from the SGS3, battery life is still bad
As we type this we have the SGS3 and the SGS4 on our desk. While, superficially, there's really not a lot of difference between the two, to hold, they couldn't feel more different. We really like the new, more square-feeling SGS4. At the back, we...

Here's what we think of the new Android heavyweight.
The Galaxy S4 is a great phone with outstanding hardware and performance, but it's not flawless. We're disappointed with the build quality considering the handset costs a fair bit more than its rivals and while the S4 is packed with features we find a...

What's the difference between the Galaxy S4 mini smartphone and the full-fat Galaxy S4? We take a look in our in-depth Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Galaxy S4 mini comparison review.
Provided the Galaxy S4 mini doesn't offer poor performance (we'll let you know as soon as we benchmark it), then the main reasons to opt for it over the full-size S4 are that you want a physically smaller smartphone or you can't afford the flagship.
