Maybe a one-size-fits-all approach isn't the best for voice assistants.

As far as smartphone updates go, Samsung's Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are incredibly incremental.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a more rounded design, an upgraded 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and new Galaxy AI features. The highest-end variant of Samsung's flagship smartphone lineup for 2025, the S25 Ultra ships with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a...

It's been a long time coming, but you could finally catch Android charging up with Apple.

With barely any hardware changes, is the Samsung Galaxy S25 worth looking at, or safe to skip?

With very little Android competition, the smallest Samsung Galaxy S25 is arguably the most appealing of this year's flagship efforts
Ample performance and more memory as standard ; Compact Android champ is now even slimmer ; Cameras largely deliver for the money
Very few hardware changes from last year ; Battery life still merely OK
It’s a very modest upgrade on last year’s effort and battery life is only average, but the Galaxy S25 still flies the flag for small Android phones.

What to expect from Samsung's next flagship phone trio - or maybe duo? The Galaxy S25 Plus is in doubt, but an Ultra is all but certain

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is likely to be a popular phone in the 2025 flagship series with new AI features from the smartphone industry giant. We've talked about rumoured upgrades for months, but now the lab results are in. Find out if this phone can...

Want a small, snappy, and sleek $800 phone? The Galaxy S25 is a fantastic deal. Just don't waste brain cells over concepts like upgrades or competitive value.
Compact footprint and solid build ; Beautiful 120Hz OLED screen ; Plenty of silicon firepower ; Battery can go a full day ; One UI 7 has a few functional charms
It sorely needs a design makeover ; Cameras don’t justify the price tag ; Charging situation is just poor ; Most of the new AI tricks fall flat ; Upgrades? Don’t say that word
“The Galaxy S25 is a nice $800 phone if you seek the comfort of Samsung, and don’t think too much about camera or battery charging innovation.”

The most compact Galaxy is back! It brings the largest performance jump in years, but it will also go down in history as the tiniest update so far! That...
Stunningly light and very comfortable to use.
Generational upgrades are few and far between.
Still, if you aren't entirely sold on the Samsung ecosystem and you are just looking to replace your old compact Android phone, or iOS phone for that matter, there are better options for the asking price.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 has useful AI features and an impressive battery life, but the samey hardware and unchanged price tag make for an unconvincing upgrade.
