Hands on: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 (Note 20 Ultra) review

Formidable flagship phones but do either the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or the Note 20 Ultra justify the high price tag?

Big screens, big batteries ; Impressive specs ; Lovely design

Not a huge leap on paper ; Affordable alternatives

Samsung Note20 5G mobile phone review

  (Rating Hidden)

Leading the Note20 range is the Note20 5G, the cheapest model of the two-phone line-up. As with any Samsung flagship, it's filled to the brim with new extra features, namely optimisations to its accompanying S-P...

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 review: stylus tax

You have to pay way too much to get a stylus this year.

S Pen has come into its own ; Solid performance and battery life ; Reasonable size for more people

Not a good value at the original $1,000 asking price ; No 120Hz refresh rate screen ; Cameras are not inspiring

Samsung’s lower-end Note 20 has a high-end price: $999.99. At that price, you’d expect every feature to be flagship level, but unfortunately, the screen has a standard refresh rate. The cameras are competent but not incredible.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 review: plastic jewelry

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is the “cheaper” Note to buy this year. But it still has an MSRP of $999 and is lacking some pretty basic premium features to the point it's insulting.

Powerful hardware; Great overall camera performance; Beautiful, balanced design; Samsung's AMOLED screen is still top-notch; Enhanced productivity: multi-window, S Pen, DeX

$1,000 plastic phone; Refresh rate stuck at 60 Hz; Battery life is just OK

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 review

Samsung's smaller Galaxy Note 20 ditches flashy features for a lower price — and it's better for it.

Before embarking on this Galaxy Note 20 review, I struggled to pin down who the Note 20 was for, but now I’ve figured it out. If you want to be dazzled with the absolute pinnacle of mobile technology, buy the Note 20 Ultra. But if all you really care...

Review: Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra – simply, unarguably the best

The Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra in 4G or 5G are simply, unarguably the best Google Android smartphones on the planet. It is a shame that 99% of Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra

120Hz screen is really for gamers - set it to adaptive;Huge, HDR10+ expansive screens;Professional-level colour gamut;Extremely well built and IP68;The most fully-featured phones on the planet (including iPhone);S Pen is the reason to buy – use it or...

Big camera bump needs a case;Limited to 25W charging – some competitors are twice as fast;Still, a fingerprint magnet although the Mystic Bronze is better;5G is still way to patchy to be a driver. Save a few dollars with eh 4G version

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series could debut new copper and ‘Mint’ green colors

Samsung's Galaxy S20 lineup is pretty bland when it comes to colors, but the Galaxy Note 20 might arrive with a few more options. According to a couple of recent leaks, Samsung's Note 20 will launch with a new “Mint” colorway alongside a few others....
