The Realme 8 Pro is a great reason to pay attention to Realme, as it combines a few impressive specs with a low price.

The Realme 8 Pro is a superb phone for its price, which is to say, it’s surprising that it only costs this much. Compared to its rivals it feels snug in the hand, takes impressive photos, and charges really quickly.

Want an affordable phone with heaps of features? Realme has the answer - if you can accept the garish liberal use of design slogans anyway.

Decent main camera ; Generally steady performance ; Affordable price point considering the overall spec

That 'Dare To Leap' slogan ; No image stabilisation ; Slow Wi-Fi ; Some UI visual stutters ; In-display scanner not best going

If you can get over the massive slogan on the rear - which, we know, is a big ask - then the Realme 8 Pro delivers a decent specification considering the asking price.
