Razer Phone Review – Is this a gamer's dream phone? | Trusted Reviews

Razer Phone review: What happens when a gaming PC vendor makes a phone? This is still a powerful device, with a Snapdragon 835, 8GB RAM and a 120Hz screen

Great performance and cooling ; Best-in-class speakers ; Superb screen

Terrible camera ; No IP rating

Razer Phone review

A gaming smartphone with super speakers

Excellent speakers ; Display tuned for gaming ; Plenty of power under the hood

Camera a weak point ; Only a handful of games ; No headphone jack

The Razer Phone is packed full of power and potential, but the stumbling block is its niche appeal. Its design may not blow people away, but the super stereo speakers and gaming-focused display will appeal to some.

Razer Phone review: an absolute beast of a smartphone

Built for gamers, but you don't have to be a gamer to want it

Distinctive design ; 120HZ screen ; Dolby Atmos audio

Camera ; Do mobile games need the extra grunt? ; No headphone jack or water resistance

Razer Phone review: Brilliant brickphone brings an experience like no other

Ultimately the Razer Phone sits in its own specialist niche. If the gaming side appeals - despite the limited number of truly high-end Android apps -

120Hz display means super-smooth operation throughout ; The best speakers we've ever heard in a smartphone ; Savvy price considering the huge amoung of power (SD835 and 8GB RAM) on board

Battery should last longer given its capacity ; Camera app is slow and results sub-standard ; Screen not the brightest ; It's a bit of a brick in design terms ; Does Android really need a 'phone for gamers'?

We have a sort of love-hate relationship with the Razer Phone. We love its boldness, its desire to be different, what its 120Hz panel can do for super-smooth operation throughout (not only for gaming!) and those best-ever-in-a-smartphone speakers. It's...

Razer Phone review

Look at your phone. Swipe across its home screen. Scroll down a web page. Does it feel fast and smooth?

The Razer Phone is the smoothest Android experience yet. It's built like a tank, and its twin Dolby-powered speakers blow away the competition.

Big, speaker-filled bezels make for a bulky phone with no water resistance or headphone jack. No-frills camera takes iffy photos in low light, among other camera quirks.

Razer Phone sets a new bar for mobile performance (and game responsiveness) with its 120Hz screen and loud speakers, but it's not a top-tier phone in any other way.

Razer Phone Review: Gamer’s delight?

The Razer Phone is a premium mobile designed with gamers in mind. But is it a good smartphone? We find out in our in-depth review.

Strong visuals and audio ; Premium performance ; Customisable OS

Blocky design ; 'Quick Charge' ; Flawed cameras

Although the Razer Phone certainly boasts some strong highlights, is it really the ultimate gaming handset? To be honest, the likes of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and.

Razer's 120Hz display-enabled smartphone certainly sounds impressive, but can it offer a better mobile gaming experience than what's already available? Find out in our Razer Phone review.

Razer Phone – Is this the ultimate gaming device?

This is a great device for multimedia and gaming but is let down big time by the lousy camera. A great effort by Razer with a bit more work needed.

The Razer Phone has arrived. Here is our unboxing

We have had something very special arrive at Coolsmartphone Towers today. At least, it's something that I have been looking forward to for a few weeks. Today we've got one of the boldest new phones to come out this year (IMHO). Yes, it's the Razer...
