Oppo Find 7 review

LG G3 specs for less than £400. Yep, seriously.

Awesome price for that resolution ; Plenty of power ; Capable camera ; Customisable OS and gestures

The OnePlus One is cheaper ; Disappointing battery life ; Out-of-date Android OS ; Gets a bit heavy

A 2K screen for a mid-range price? If you can live with its quirks the Find 7 is well worth checking out

Oppo Find 7: Powerful high-end Android performance, but doesn't quite hit the mark

Oppo's Find 7 may have impressive specs such as a quad-core chip and a very high-resolution screen, but it doesn't get the blood racing like some of its competition.

The Oppo Find 7 has a powerful chip and a super high-res screen. Fun features like its Ultra-HD picture mode are cool bonuses.

The phone's design is boring compared to its competitors, and it lacks a standout feature such as the Oppo N1's swivel camera. Its battery life takes a hit due to the high-power display too.

Oppo may have packed the Find 7 with the latest and greatest specs, but it faces stiff competition from the LG G3, which has similar specs but a better design.

Oppo Find 7 Android smartphone

Feature packed and wanting for nothing

1440p screen with 538ppi ; Great Sony camera with 5MP front cam ; Powerful hardware ; Fast charge battery ; Good looking

Older version of Android ; Tall and heavy

Oppo's Find 7 is a fantastic smartphone. It is well built, has cutting edge features, a strong multimedia repertoire and software that is intuitive, simple and aesthetic. Letting the smartphone down alone is its tall height and heavy weight, which may...

Oppo Find 7 review: A solid phone that faces stiff competition

The Find 7 is Oppo's best phone to date, and that means something for a relatively unknown company that's already put out some solid phones. Its combination of strong performance and a Quad HD screen make it a worthy choice, so long as you don't mind...

Plenty of horsepower ; Pretty good screen ; It charges really fast with the right gear

ColorOS can take some getting used to ; Mediocre camera ; Safe, uninspired design

I dig the Find 7. A lot, even. Despite a smattering of faults, it still stands tall as the company's finest mobile effort to date and Oppo die-hards shouldn't hesitate to pick one up. The tricky truth for everyone else is that the Find 7 doesn't live...

Oppo Find 7 review: Dark horse

When talking about flagships, one name that keeps on popping up alongside the likes of Samsung and Sony is Oppo. Needless to say, it has long stopped being a surprise. With solid offerings of the past two generations in the Find 5 and N1, Oppo is not...

Oppo Find 7 review: Great design and stunning display, but poor battery life

Oppo might still be a relatively unheard of brand for many but for those who've used their products will attest to the high standards of build quality that goes into them, right down to their budget offerings.

The Oppo Find 7 is priced at Rs 37,990 which seems like good value at first when you factor in the Quad HD display. However, we feel the Find 7a makes more practical sense. Not only is it quite a bit cheaper, you also get a regular Full HD display,...

Oppo Find 7 Review

The Find 7 is Oppo's ultimate flagship, throwing in the kitchen sink of specs in one solid chassis – we get a 5.5” Quad HD display, the fastest Snapdragon 801 CPU, 13 MP camera, 3 GB of RAM, and the generous 32 GB of storage.

Rapid Charging tech ; Large display with excellent pixel density ; Fast and smooth performance of the clean UI

Dim display with cold, inaccurate colors ; Priced as much as better, more popular alternatives ; Short battery life

The Oppo Find 7 seems to be a stellar flagship on paper – it's got a huge Quad HD display, overachieving processor, plenty of memory, and a high-res camera. It is, however, marred by some mishaps. The body is fairly ergonomic for a 5.5-incher, but...
