Its sub-£500 starting price, flagship specs, stunning design and capable dual camera render this the most competitive OnePlus yet.
A huge leap in design ; Seriously fast ; Dash Charge is still great, if slightly restrictive ; A well-thought-out version of Android with great extras
Camera still needs improvement ; Missing a few ‘flagship’ features
Like the prospect of an IP rating, there were many rumours before launch that the OnePlus 6 would be the first in the series to enable wireless charging.

Can the successor to one of the most popular phones ever reclaim its throne?
Incredibly fast, with big benchmark scores ; Packs a whopping 8GB of RAM ; Large and vivid AMOLED, HDR screen ; Beautiful all-glass design ; Lightning fast face unlock ; Silk White colourway is lush
Battery capacity is good but not ideal ; Flat light camera system performance isn't great ; Water resistant, but not IP67/68 certified ; No wireless charging

The speed, and the phone, you need
Plenty of power, strong cameras ; Clean, fuss-free Android interface ; Glass design is premium
'Only' a Full HD resolution ; No expandable storage ; Single, down-firing speaker
The OnePlus 6 feels grown-up, and it certainly doesn’t look or feel out of place alongside the top-flight competition from the likes of Apple, Samsung and Sony. Performance is good, the screen bright and colorful, the design appealing, and there’s a...

The OnePlus 6 introduces a glass design, plus a 19:9 screen with a notch and only costs £469. Here's our full review.

Yet another unmissable deal from Android's indie star.
The OnePlus 6 is blazing fast, shoots amazing portrait mode photos, has a polished refined design and costs much less than other flagship phones.
It lacks waterproofing, wireless charging and has a shorter battery life than the OnePlus 5T. In the US, the phone doesn't work on CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint.
The OnePlus 6 is an excellent phone and gives you many of the features of more costly flagship phones.

The original flagship killer aims for bargain status once again
Fantastic screen ; Speedy internals ; Amazing pricing
Humdrum design ; Camera can disappoint
New OnePlus phone, same old unbelievable value

One of the most anticipated handsets of the year is the OnePlus 6. Exactly half of the Recombu community voted for this 6.3-inch beast as...
Unbeatable performance ; Impressive camera tech ; Awesome battery life
No IP rating ; No expandable storage ; Massive frame
Now, we have to get this out of the way right now – the OnePlus 6 is not our favourite phone of 2018 so far. That trophy is still clutched tight in the clammy grasp of Huawei’s super-sexy P20 Pro. However, the OnePlus 6 does offer stronger value for...

When OnePlus released its first cut-price flagship smartphone four years ago there seemed to be an unsurpassable level of hype surrounding it. Those expectations have only continued to grow with each release. The 2018 release, the OnePlus 6, offers the...

The OnePlus 6 has high-end specs and a mid-range price. We see how it compares to Apple's ultra-premium iPhone X
We think it's fair to say that these handsets are designed for different areas of the market.

A knockout phone that beats the big boys at their own game
Superb camera; Comparable performance to Galaxy S9; Amazing display
Battery life is more disappointing than the 5T; No IP67 waterproofing
If you want the camera, performance and design of the best flagships on the market without paying the £700-plus pricetag, the OnePlus 6 is the phone you've been waiting for. This was 2018's must-have device, and is still recommended in 2019.
