Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Review

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus offers a spec bump on the Nothing Phone (2a) that launched earlier this year, making it an even more tempting option.

Distinctive design ; Excellent battery life ; Dependable performance

Slippy finish that attracts dirt ; Not the fastest charging ; No telephoto camera

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has a nice screen, pleasant software, a great design, dependable cameras and excellent battery life. That it also has power to spare, good speakers and a funky set of lights on the rear are merely icing – but it isn’t...

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus review: What the Phone (2a) should’ve been

The Phone (2a) Plus has several upgrades compared to the regular Phone (2a), making it a compelling choice in the saturated mid-range market

Distinctive metallic design ; Powerful chipset that’s great for gaming ; Impressive selfie camera ; Affordable price

Design may be too flashy for some ; No charger included in the box ; No wireless charging

Despite a new design and extra performance, the Phone (2a) Plus retains an affordable price tag, making it a top recommendation. But I can’t help but feel that this is what the Phone (2a) should have been from the beginning, and that the Plus model...

Nothing’s Phone 2a Plus is the smallest of upgrades, but I’m still a big fan

A speed boost and slicker styling for Nothing's affordable champ. The Phone 2a Plus is one for selfie fans, too

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus

  (Rating Hidden)

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is another phone from the British manufacturer with the light-up, semi-transparent design that's becoming its trademark. On the inside, it has some promising features, too. We've put its battery, screen and cameras to the...

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus review

Nothing seems to be on a roll lately when it comes to expanding its smartphone portfolio. Hot on the heels of the Nothing CMF Phone 1 and just four months...

Unique, eye-catching design with a surprising amount of added functionality from the Glyph Interface.

No charger in the box.

Either phone represents a very well-rounded package and you will be happy with either one. And sure, you can probably get better value for money in this price bracket, but nothing quite as unique as the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Review

Eye-catching appearance ; Perky performance ; Fast charging

Limited 5G support ; Underwhelming call quality ; Not easy to get in the US

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has a standout design and plenty of power, but 5G compatibility issues make it difficult to recommend.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus review: why, though?

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is not very different from the Phone (2a). A new design accent and a new processor. Does it warrant $50 more than the regular Phone (2a)? We take a deep dive — benchmarks, tests, opinions in here!

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Review: The Mid-Range Dilemma

I tested the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, a smartphone for under 500 dollars. Read my honest opinion on this test.

Nice design ; Correct photo quality ; Bright 120 Hz OLED display ; Excellent battery life ; Stable performance

Photo module not very versatile ; Lack of raw power for gaming ; No eSIM or microSD support ; IP54 certified only

Would I advise you to buy the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus at 449 bucks? No. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is more powerful than the Nothing Phone (2a). In this respect, Nothing's promise is kept. But these improvements are too slight to justify the price...

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Review: An Impressive Phone With One Major Flaw

The Nothing (2a) Plus checks almost all the boxes but an unreliable fingerprint scanner is an unforgivable gripe.

Navigation is simple and intuitive ; Interesting design and a sturdy build ; Glyph lights add a unique touch ; Display delivers impressive detail and colors ; Efficient processor with expandable RAM ; Long-lasting battery

Fingerprint reader doesn't work ; Difficult to purchase in the US ; You have to go down to 12MP to be able to zoom in

Nothing (2a) Plus An unreliable fingerprint scanner comes in the way of what could've been an excellent phone.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus would be the Nothing Phone I'd buy... if I didn't live in the US

Although it's not the most powerful Nothing phone, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus is the best bang-for-your-buck device in its roster.

Beautiful design ; Amazing display ; Competitive price ; Fast wired charging ; Nice selfie camera upgrade ; 256GB as standard

Confusing US availability ; Digital zoom is quite bad

At a list price of $399 here in the United States, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus delivers a lot of value. It’s an absolutely gorgeous piece of tech, its performance is pretty stellar for this price category, battery life is terrific, and wired charging...
