Did Nokia's first top-end handset in years knock our socks off?
Decent battery life ; Long software lifespan ; Sturdy build quality
Mono speaker ; Camera produces middling results ; Some issues with reliability
The X30 5G is Nokia’s first premium handset in years, and it makes a good initial impression. As it boasts a polished design, a good screen, the promise of continued software updates, and decent battery life, this positive impression carries on with...

The Nokia X30 is a complete reimagining of last year's X20 that allows Nokia to truly compete with popular mid-rangers for the first time.
Stylish, robust design ; Impressive camera performance ; Gorgeous display ; Three-year warranty
Performance is lacking for the price ; No true stand-out feature compared to the competition
The Nokia X30 represents a change in direction, with a more stylish design, hugely improved specs and a boost to camera performance despite no Leica partnership. It doesn’t do anything extraordinarily better than other good mid-rangers, but for the...

The Nokia X30 5G is an entry-level smartphone, with 5G connectivity and a 64Mp main camera, with 5Mp ultra-wide lens, 2Mp depth and macro sensors. But how did it measure up when we sent it for testing in the lab? Find out how it performed in our full...

Play the long game. The Nokia X30's tagline hints that it's big on preserving the environment, and Nokia calls it their 'most eco-friendly phone yet'....
Dust- and water-resistant, feel-good environmental pledge.
No stereo speakers.
All things considered, the Nokia X30 isn't exactly worthy of a raving recommendation, but it just about qualifies for a 'conditional' one - at the right price and after careful weighing of the pros and cons.

The Nokia X30 5G aims to compete with budget handsets from Samsung and Google. But does it deliver the goods? See what we think in our review.
Beautiful screen Design is lightweight and well-balanced Fast charging speeds Clean Android software Long software update support cycle
Mediocre camera Some performance stutters Disappointing battery life Poor update history
“HMD Global's newest Nokia is its best phone in years — but that's not saying much. It's a good phone, but not the special one HMD needed.”

Here's our review of the Nokia X30 5G which we feel is trying to make waves in the high-end segment but does it succeed?
Build Quality Cameras Battery Life Display
Software issues Performance lags Single speaker Slower charging than competitors Weak haptics
The Nokia X30 5G shines in some aspects such as the cameras, the display, battery life and even the build quality. However, it still isn’t suitable for majority of the audience as there are a bunch of better alternatives available in the market at a...

The Nokia X30 is for minimalists who still have an attachment to the iconic brand but also want a phone that feels high quality, offers long battery life and has a camera that takes decent photos.

In a world of yearly updates to phones, it's becoming apparent that this is, ecologically speaking, not the best idea. HMD Global has been promoting
As we move forward, our ecological footprint is becoming more of a concern and Nokia have been pushing their devices to last longer than the usual 12-month cycle. The Nokia X30 5G comes with 3 years of updates, and 3 years of warranty to try to...

Nokia X30 5G is the greenest phone from Finnish HMD, but the performance is not impressive.
It is quite green. The phone is made mainly of recycled materials, and Nokia promises three years of updates. Full 5G support.
Apart from selfies, the cameras are mediocre and the zoom is downright poor. Performance is behind most competitors.
The Nokia X30 5G has about the range of features you’d expect from a decent mid-range phone. The Finns also get points for thinking about the environment in the form of recycled materials and a three-year updates warranty. But price and performance...
