Motorola RAZR i

The Motorola RAZR i is one seriously impressive mid-range phone.

Impressive edge to edge screen ; Fast Intel processor ; Great ergonomics

Screen isn't HD ; Not compatible with every app on the Play Store ; Slightly clunky design

The Motorola RAZR i is a great mid-range handset that offers good performance and ergonomics for its price. The inclusion of expandable memory, NFC and a hardware camera button are particular highlights. However, aside from understandable trade offs...

Motorola Razr i review

Moto's latest handset has Intel inside and promises to take you to the edge

Good size and weight ; Big, vibrant screen ; Intel Inside ; Reasonable price ; Fluid Android skin

Design divides opinion ; Low pixel density ; Poor vibration ; Only seven home screens

If taking photos is your sole aim or you're OCD about pixels, look elsewhere. But if getting a top smartphone at a reasonable price - and with battery life that puts others to shame - is your goal, then we heartily recommend the Motorola Razr i.

Motorola Razr i

Solid but uninspiring, the Razr i struggles to get us excited

Compact, solid build ; Fast, clean interface ; Speedy web browser ; Crisp text

Design is a little uninspiring ; Music and video lack detail ; Off-white tint to video

There’s decent camera and call quality, plus a good battery performance. Video and audio aren’t up to the standards of the best, though. Despite a clean interface and fast browsing, we just can’t get particularly excited about the Razr i.

Motorola RAZR i

The Motorola RAZR i is arguably the first mainstream Android handset to launch with an Intel chipset inside. There are some things that the Motorola RAZR i gets very right: the design is solid, the battery performance is impressive, and the user...

Battery performance, compact, solid build, plenty of power, some nice tweaks to UI

Intel hardware not compatible with all apps, screen could be better

There are some things that the Motorola RAZR i gets very right: the design is solid, the battery performance is impressive, and the user interface hasn't veered too far from Android's goodness, but brings a few nice additions.

Motorola Razr i review

The Razr i is the first fruit of Motorola's partnership with Intel. This smartphone touts performance from an Atom processor and an 'edge-to-edge' display all for a mid-range price.

The Motorola Razr i is a great all-rounder smartphone. It offers a great combination of design and performance for a reasonable price. It's worth a look for its price and worthy of our recommended award.

Motorola RAZR i review

Can Moto's latest Kevlar-wrapped smartphone square off against some of the fiercest mobile competitors? Only one way to find out

Unique looks ; Almost untouched Android ; Decent battery life

No Android Jelly Bean (yet) ; Display could do with a tad more detail

A very solid handset offering top-notch build quality, a snappy camera and Intel power to boot

We do have a few concerns about the patchy app compatibility with the Intel processor, but for the most part this is a powerful, classy handset. Motorola’s best yet.
