Motorola One Macro Review: The cheapest One phone yet

The Motorola One Macro is the cheapest Moto One phone yet, with clean software and a unique macro camera for close-up shots.

Super-clean Android experience at a bargain price;Brilliant battery life;Surprisingly decent performance

Inadequate 720p display;Macro camera a bit of a gimmick;Main camera disappoints

Motorola One Macro review

The Motorola One Macro sells itself on macro photography, but that's not its strength.

Good screen Dependable battery life Durable, fuss-free design

No NFC Bad cameras Rear is a fingerprint magnet

The Moto One Macro has a great design, dependable battery, a good screen, nice software and a reasonable chipset. It is a very well thought-out device - but its main attraction, the macro camera, is a big let-down.

Moto One Macro review: Getting up close and personal

The budget handset with a close-up lens special, does the One Macro feel balanced or does the Moto G8 Plus outweigh the need for its existence?

Highly affordable ; Graduated rear makes for a pleasing design ; Battery life goes on and on ; Clean software experience ; Smooth performance throughout

Average camera performance (ironic given the macro feature being a main sell) ; Low-resolution screen doesn't cut it ; Overzealous auto-brightness ; No fast-charging ; G8 Plus is all-round better

The Macro should be seen for what it is: a budget handset with a big battery life and fuss-free software. Buy it for the cameras and you'll be disappointed, though, which is somewhat a contradition to the name. Yes, it can do close-up shots, but we'd...

Motorola One Macro (2019) review: A budget phone that holds up to scrutiny

Android One ; Macro lens ; Battery life

Triple-lens camera disappointing overall ; Design not as nice as One Vision

The Motorola One Macro is a fast, clean and highly-usable phone with a nifty trademark feature and longer-than-average battery life.

Motorola One Macro Review: A Macro Camera Isn’t A Saving Grace - MySmartPrice

The Moto G series was once the go-to smartphone choice in the mid-range segment. However, it lost its sheen after the likes of ASUS, Honor and Xiaomi started launching impressive value-for-money phones with better specs. Motorola came back strongly...

HD+ resolution screen doesn't look sharp. ; Cameras not up to the mark. ; No quick charging. ; No Wi-Fi ac or Bluetooth 5.0. ; No fast charger in the box.

Review: Motorola One Macro for close up photography

Motorola One Macro is a phone focused (for want of a better pun) on macro-photography. In all other respects, it is a $299 phone offering what has become

Quality $29 phone from an established maker;Very good battery life

Macro is more a gimmick than useful

Motorola One Macro Review

A macro look at Motorola's latest smartphone.

Good battery life ; Useful software features ; Decent performance

HD resolution display ; Sub-par camera performance

Motorola has named this smartphone the One Macro to highlight the macro camera on it, so let's address that first. The macro camera lets you take good close-up shots, but we feel that the novelty of this will wear out soon. Thankfully, you'll still...
