Moto G7 Plus Review | Trusted Reviews

We test the flagship of the Moto G series – the new Moto G7 Plus, which promises improved cameras, battery and performance.

Good cameras, front and back ; Solid value ; Classy hardware design

Deep notch ; Dynamic range and night shooting are not best-in-class

With an improved camera, design and hardware the Moto G7 Plus is one of the best sub-£300 smartphones available. It may not be a giant leap forward, but it is easy to recommend to buyers on a budget. But if you only have very basic needs then the Moto...

Moto G7 Plus review

The king of the G7 series, the Moto G7 Plus provides plenty of features for a highly affordable price.

Extremely fast charging Still has a headphone jack Good value for money

Battery drains with intensive use LCD screen not as colorful

The most powerful G series smartphone to date is packed with features and with a large screen, solid cameras and enough performance it's a great device for those unable to afford a fully fledged flagship.

Moto G7 Plus review: Motorola has made another budget superstar

Very cheap but very impressive, the G7 Plus ticks a lot of boxes

Very competitive price ; Decent camera performance ; Specs won't let you down ; Comes with a free case

So-so battery life ; Display isn't the best

Moto G7 Plus review: King of the affordable phones?

The most powerful of the four Moto G devices for 2019, the 6.2in screen, top-spec G7 brings image stabilisation to its dual camera setup. Is it king?

Large screen and minimal bezel ; Rear positioned fingerprint scanner ; Clean software experience ; Solid results from cameras

Auto-brightness adjustment is overbearing ; 'motorola' logo on front not needed ; Competition and newer handsets make more sense

When released the Moto G7 Plus represented Motorola at the top of its affordable phone game. It's still a well-designed and capable handset that's worth buying if you can find it at a cut of the original asking price. Otherwise look to the newer G8...

Motorola Moto G7 Plus review

The head of the Moto G7 family proves its worth

Great design ; Crisp, bright screen ; Solid performance ; Uncluttered software ; Value for money

Some stutters with high-level gaming

The head of the Moto G7 family proves its worth as a budget handset with very little compromise

Motorola Moto G7 Plus review

The Moto G lineup has come a long way since its first release in 2013. The original Moto G is still one of the most iconic handsets ever created as it...

Pretty clean design with nice color options.

The battery endurance rating it scored is appalling.

Instead of cramming everything in a single package like the first Moto Gs, Motorola has now taken a more diversified approach by launching four models for the masses each offering something the others don't. It's up to you to pick the right one for you.

Moto G7 Plus review: Better where it counts

Impressive camera ; Great battery life

Limited durability ; No wireless charging

For most people, the Moto G7 Plus will do a fine job of handling your day-to-day demands. For those who need it to push a little further, it’ll do that too.

Motorola Moto G7 Plus review: A top-quality budget smartphone Review | ZDNet

The 6.2-inch Moto G7 Plus is as good a budget smartphone as you'll find today, but the competition in this market segment is hotting up.

Solid, stylish build ; Long battery life and fast charging ; Good camera features ; Moto extras are well organised and easy to access

Only 64GB of internal storage ; No IP rating for dust/water resistance

Hands-on with the G7 Plus: the Moto for photo

As expected, the Moto G7 Plus is the biggest and best all the models in the Moto G7 range, and I mean that without exaggeration.

Motorola is striving to differentiate the products in this line. This means that the Plus version will not bring all the best features, leaving some bonuses for the less premium models. It doesn't have the battery or the Power, doesn't bring the...
