Motorola wants to stand out from a crowded market with the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and succeeds in most regards.
Premium look and feel in a variety of materials ; Solid everyday performance from Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 ; Among the fastest charging speeds around
Some images can be overexposed ; Software promise isn’t the longest around ; No LTPO display tech
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is a good-looking smartphone with a solid camera setup, decent performance and some of the fastest charging capabilities around. It’s may not a true ‘Ultra’ smartphone like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it’s also a lot cheaper at...

There are many reasons to be excited by the Edge 50 Ultra
Premium design ; Massive 1TB storage ; 125W charger included in the box ; 3x optical zoom and decent cameras

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is a peculiar smartphone - you can have it in a vegan leather or wooden version. Yes, we are talking about actual wood! The...
Standout design.
Throttles and heats up considerably under prolonged loads.
But that's about it - everything else is in the class-leading ballpark - design, screen, battery life, charging speed, speakers, performance, photo quality. Once the price drops, it will certainly merit closer consideration.
