LG X Power review

Exclusive: a mid-range Android with a battery that goes the range

Huge 4,100mAh battery ; More affordable price

Bigger bezel stands out ; Doesn't have all LG UX 5.0 features

LG X Power is exactly like its name suggests, an Android phone made to last well beyond the end of the day. It's promising to deliver battery life and at a mid-range price with most LG interface features, but not all.

LG's big-battery X Power heads up four new 'X' smartphones

The South Korean tech giant lifts the lid on four new mobiles, each of which emphasise a particular feature, from battery life to speedy data to design.

LG X Power review

The only thing bigger or better in this phone is the battery.

The LG X Power has a name that may suggest powerful performance, but it’s all about the battery. This mid-ranger isn’t a device made to impress, and it’s really meant for users who don’t do that much on their phones yet often complain about battery...

LG X Power

The LG X Power phablet brings Boost Mobile users long battery life and solid Android performance at an affordable price.

Slim, lightweight build. Good overall performance. Long battery life. Expandable storage.

Dim display. Heavy UI layer. Mediocre camera.

Conclusions For the price, the LG X Power is a capable phone for Boost Mobile users that can keep you browsing, texting, and talking for hours longer than most comparable devices. The Samsung Galaxy J7 gets you a brighter AMOLED display, a sharper...

LG X Power brings its monster 4,100mAh battery to Sprint and Boost Mobile

A phone with a battery that promises two days of life has got to cost some cash, right? Not so with this midrange machine that also brings a new MediaTek processor to US carriers.

LG X Power Smartphone Review

Long lasting. LG's X Power wants to persuade with a gigantic battery and low price. The Korean manufacturer also treats it to a quick-charge feature and USB OTG that allows recharging friends' smartphones. Find out just how long the battery really...

slim and light casing ; superb battery life ; low power consumption ; battery recharges quickly ; USB OTG ; decent GPS module ; good photo quality ; high-contrast screen ; casing stays cool

slow access of storage ; low Wi-Fi transmission rates ; screen's bluish tint and low brightness ; adware preloaded ; poor camera quality in low light

The "super power" of LG's X power should be a long battery life, and LG actually exhausts everything: 16:27 hours is an outstanding rate, and it outclasses the comparison devices. In addition to the big battery, the efficient energy management...

LG X Power Review

If you want a dirt-cheap phone with a huge battery, LG has got something for you. The LG X Power is a plastic phone with a generic design, but what makes it worth a look is what's under the hood: a giant, 4100mAh battery.

Fairly affordable ; Excellent battery life ; Decent performance ; Decent image quality from both rear and front camera

Very limited on-board storage, less than 7GB available ; Uninspiring, plastic design ; On-screen keyboard vibration feedback is poor, making typing slower

When you draw the line, the LG X Power hits a few home runs: its battery life topped our charts and that’s truly special. The phone will last you two and even three days on a single charge, something that those owning flagships will envy you for.

Review: Review: LG X Power Mobile Phone (Model LGK220T)

I find LG a little hard to understand sometimes. It certainly has innovative new features in its (now two models of) premium phones. But it keeps on

Super long battery life, generally good all round performance, looks more expensive than it is

No 5GHz WiFi support; somewhat bland screen colour; lower resolution cameras than specified

LG X power Offers Epic Battery Life on the Cheap

In an increasingly competitive budget-phone market, the $200 LG X power's battery life can't be touched. On our tests, it lasts almost 4 hours longer than its competition, and offers the kind of real-world longevity that'll make worrying about running...

Top-tier battery life ; Superaffordable ; Expandable micro USB storage

Lackluster display ; Weak rear camera and speaker ; No removable battery or USB-C

While its camera, design and display fall behind some of its competitors, the LG X power's absolutely monstrous battery life and affordable price can't be ignored.

LG X Power review: A turbo-charged battery with little to power

I have gone on record stating that one of the most important things to me in a phone is the battery. After all, what good is a zippy processor and high-quality camera if your phone craps out mid-way through the day?

Fantastic battery life ; Light & slim ; Relatively fast charging

Runs hot ; Lacklustre processing power ; Poor quality rear-facing camera ; Very poor sound quality
