LG V60 ThinQ Review | Trusted Reviews

The LG V60 ThinQ might not be as flashy as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, but this is a surprisingly impressive phone – if you look past a few details.

Great battery life;A screen that isn’t curved;Reliable cameras;A headphone jack; Some clever Dual Screen uses

The screen just can’t compete with other Android flagships;Still not convinced by the Dual Screen; Not the most ergonomic;LG's software needs a reboot

LG V60 ThinQ 5G review

Nice but niche

Top performance ; Lovely display ; Quad DAC in headphone jack ; Two day battery life

Display only 60Hz ; Software needs some love ; Hard to buy outside of the USA

The Dual Screen case is a niche accessory but the V60 itself is an excellently fast device with the best battery life you’ll find on a 5G smartphone in 2020

LG V60 ThinQ 5G

The LG V60 is an excellent phone that skimps on display specs in order to excel in areas like audio and battery life

LG V60 ThinQ 5G review: A less exciting but cheaper Galaxy S20 alternative

If you don't buy the LG V60's Dual Screen case, the phone is a cheap (but boring) alternative to the Galaxy S20.

Two screens can be useful

Nothing exciting in terms of software

LG V60 ThinQ 5G review

While we were all expecting a successor to the G8, LG instead announced a successor to the V50. The LG V60 ThinQ 5G is the latest fully featured flagship...

Large display and loud speakers are great for content consumption

Display lacks a high refresh rate or QHD resolution

The choice is certainly a no brainer for an audiophile - who would happily get lost in all the tweaks and audio modes that the V60 has to offer. Paired with the large display and the great battery life makes it a great phone for content consumption on...

LG V60 5G ThinQ review: A compromised phone I like anyway

By itself, the V60 ThinQ is a fascinating exercise in compromise. To get its price under $1,000 (the current standard for a flagship), LG went with a lower-resolution screen, fewer rear cameras and less RAM than it rivals. That sounds like a great way...

Fantastic battery life ; Flagship performance at a discount ; It has a headphone jack! ; Beautiful screen (even if it’s only 1080p)

Bulky and dated redesign ; Dual screen can be finicky ; LG’s software needs an overhaul

LG V60 ThinQ 5G Dual Screen review: Not quite a flagship

The LG V60 ThinQ isn't as expensive as the competition, but it performs well and offers excellent multitasking features. However, there are some trade-offs.

Dual Screen case can be useful ; Excellent performance ; Long battery life ; Reasonable price

Frustrating software ; Camera is far from the best ; Slow fingerprint sensor

LG V60 Dual Screen review: V for versatility

LG's latest phone offers flagship specs for less than a Samsung Galaxy S20.

Effortless, speedy performance ; Worry-free battery life ; The headphone jack lives and shines on

This phone is enormous ; No high-refresh display ; Software remains too inconsistent

The LG V60 ThinQ 5G has top-tier specs on par with rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S20 — but for less money. It also comes with a second screen that opens new multitasking possibilities. And there’s still a headphone jack.

LG V60 5G ThinQ Review

Lovely design ; Excellent audio ; Long battery life

Lots of bloatware ; AT&T and T-Mobile versions only have sub-6GHz 5G ; Optical fingerprint sensor doesn’t work well

The LG V60 5G ThinQ is a handsome and powerful flagship phone for a relatively reasonable price, but its lack of multi-band 5G on most carriers limits its prospects for the future.
