Huawei Mate 10

Huawei Mate 10 review, price, release date, specs and price. It's not coming to the UK, but how good does the Huawei Mate 10 look?

Takes good pictures in low light ; Great performance ; Very good battery life

EMUI software is a pain

Despite Huawei’s constant marketing spam about the greatness of its ‘co-engineered with Leica’ dual-lens cameras, I’ve always found them to be good; not great. Which is why I didn’t put much stock into Huawei’s pre-release claims about the Mate 10’s...

Hands on: Huawei Mate X review

The foldable Huawei Mate X looks to take on the Samsung Galaxy Fold in a bid for the future of smartphones. Here's our take on it.

Folds with two large outer screens Expands into an 8-inch tablet Hinge feels solid in hand High-powered specs

Mid-crease occasionally reflects light Very expensive

The Huawei Mate X might be the first foldable phone you seriously consider paying gobs of money for in 2019. Its solid-feeling hinge allows this handset to fold up, transforming from full 8-inch tablet into a more-traditional-looking 6.6-inch and...

Huawei Mate 10 review

A bargain of a flagship

Premium design ; Quality camera ; Powerful chipset

No real waterproofing ; EMUI not for everyone ; No wireless charging

The Huawei Mate 10 is a big phone with an excellent camera, striking design and plenty of power under the hood. Given its size, it won’t be for everyone, but with very few shortcomings it’s a definite contender for best value for money big phone of 2017.

Huawei Mate X initial review: Foldable champ

Huawei's folding Mate X was first announced in Barcelona at MWC 2019, but we've managed to get some real hands-on time with it since then.

Screen is usable when folded ; Hinge feels sturdy ; Camera system on the back has proven quality ; 55W charging is rapid

It's going to be very expensive ; Phone is chunky when folded ; You can see a bump on the display from an angle

Huawei was one of the first to show off its foldable smartphone, the Mate X is an exciting start. Yes it's big and chunky, and it'll undoubtedly take time to mature into a product that most consumers will want to use, but it's a very promising device...

This phone is hard to find, but worth the effort

Huawei's Mate 10 is fast, has great cameras and a beautiful big screen. It's also a good deal cheaper than an iPhone 8 Plus or Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Huawei’s Mate 10 gives you performance and cameras comparable to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 and Google’s Pixel XL 2, but for several hundred bucks less. It also has a headphone jack.

The phone’s battery doesn’t last as long as the Mate 10 Pro despite being the same size. Huawei’s Android software could be smoother and the phone isn’t getting an official release in the US or UK.

The Huawei Mate 10 may be hard for you to get your hands on, but it’s worth the effort if you want a big-screen phone and don’t quite have the budget for a Galaxy Note, iPhone Plus or Pixel 2.
