Nicely designed and simple to use, the P6 is let down by its sound and video performance

Smart design ; Easy to use ; Decent spec ; Sharp screen with good colours

Huawei Ascend P6 review

Huawei latest effort in the smartphone market is its flagship Ascend P6. Huawei tends to make budget smartphones, especially for the UK scene, but the Ascend P6 is a shot at the big guns – namely the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4.

The Huawei Ascend P6 is a fantastic and desirable smartphone, whether it's an iPhone copy or not. It provides real value for money even if it is lacking NFC and 4G support. We particularly like the cameras and the customisable user interface.
