HTC Desire 610

HTC's answer to 4G on a reasonable budget

Well made, Good speakers and call quality, Decent camera, Solid all-rounder

Big and chunky, Low-res screen, Price a little high right now

HTC Desire 610 review

Great build quality and software for the price - but that's not enough

Great performance ; Excellent gallery ; Range of connectivity options

Weak camera and screen ; Relatively expensive ; Mediocre battery life

A fast and fluid interface with good performance make the Desire 610 an easy phone to use, but with its weak screen and camera and oversized bezels it doesn't offer enough to be a great mid-range smartphone.

HTC Desire 610 review

Can the HTC Desire 610 win the mid-range smartphone war?

Solid all rounder ; Big screen ; NFC and 4G

Average camera ; Bulky ; Not that cheap

HTC Desire 610 review

Priced at £239, the HTC Desire 610 is a rival to the likes of the £299 Google Nexus 5, the £229 Sony Xperia M2. That's a reasonable price tag for what you get, but when you compare it to the £100 cheaper Motorola Moto G and realise that the low-cost...

Overall, the HTC Desire 610 will appeal to anyone looking for a reasonably priced all-rounder to use for browsing the web, taking good photos, emailing, texting, making phone calls, playing casual games and running Android apps.

HTC Desire 610 review: An affordable, fun Android KitKat phone

The HTC Desire 610 has a fun, plastic body, runs Android KitKat and doesn't cost the Earth, but it's let down by its poor specs.

The HTC Desire 610 has an affordable price tag, its camera isn't too bad and its navy-blue, plastic body is quite fun.

It has a very disappointingly low resolution display that's not too bright either. Its processor and Android version are the same as the considerably cheaper Motorola Moto G. Its battery is only adequate.

The HTC Desire 610 may be affordable, with an iPhone 5C-style plastic body, but its mediocre specs and poor screen resolution mean it's still not a good buy. For much less money you can grab the 4G Motorola Moto G, which has the same processor, Android...

The Desire 610 certainly isn’t a game changer among its peers but at the same time, as with almost all mid-tier devices nowadays, it is a very easy phone to live with.

HTC Desire 610 review

The HTC Desire 610 is a good all-round mid-range smartphone with a price tag that's just a tad too high. Here's our full HTC Desire 610 UK review.

HTC Desire 610 smartphone

When great companies make poor smartphones

Loud speakers ; Good software ; 4G

Poor quality 8 megapixel camera ; Unattractive ; Low resolution screen ; Little internal storage

HTC's Desire 610 is dead last on our list of value for money smartphones. Consider the Nokia Lumia 635, Motorola Moto G (4G). Huawei Ascend G6 and Kogan Agora 4G before spending the asking price of this smartphone.

HTC Desire 610 (AT&T)

The HTC Desire 610 offers a modern Android experience for little cash, but you get what you pay for in the form of disappointing display quality.

Affordable. Runs Android 4.4. Loud front-facing speakers.

Low-quality display. Oversized bezels. Glossy, grease-magnet plastic design.

Cameras and Conclusions There's an 8-megapixel, rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel, front-facing camera, neither of which take very good photos. The rear shooter struggles to capture fine details or nail an accurate exposure, skewing towards...

HTC Desire 610 review

The HTC One M8 stormed its way to a glowing review from CNET editor Brian Bennett thanks to its ultra-luxurious metal design, superb high-definition screen and oodles of power. It's a formidable flagship phone, and comes with a price to match. If your...
