iPhone 6

Apple's iPhone 6 changed design and was the hot phone of 2014. But it is no longer sold by Apple and there are better options out there.

Great 4.7-inch screen ; Good all-round camera ; Class-leading performance ; Great new software features

Expensive ; Shorter battery life than rivals

The slimness of a phone can give an indication of its stamina. If we judged the iPhone 6’s battery life like that we’d be worried.

Apple's first big iPhone examined in-depth

Best looking phablet ; Great full HD display ; Strong camera for day to day use

Too big to use one handed ; Very expensive ; 'Reachability' feels tacked on

The iPhone 6 Plus is the best looking phablet around. Its specs don't match the Android power houses and it can be tricky to hold, but there's no denying Apple's beautiful (yet expensive) 5.5 incher is a winner.

Product of the Year, Awards 2014. It won't tick all the boxes on your wishlist of latest features, but for user experience the Apple iPhone 6 is one of the best smartphones around
