Acer Liquid E2

One of the ugliest phones of the year, but solid value at under £200.

Decent performance, Good camera, Near-vanilla Android software

Ugly design, Disappointingly poor speaker performance, Camera focusing issues

Acer Liquid E2 Review: In Depth

The Acer Liquid E2 is an attractive package for the £170 asking price. While it may not be the prettiest, it isn't the most powerful...

Powerful for the price

Just 4GB internal memory

Acer Liquid E2 – Review

Well built, solid feel, stock ish Android 4.2.1, budget pricing, decent performance, dual SIM version available.Device let down slightly by average battery life, dull screen and split internal memory that hampers app installation.

In conclusion I really liked the Acer Liquid E2, it felt like a tweaked budget Nexus device. The elements Acer have added to Android are really quite useful. Acer could fix the biggest problem of storage space by sending out a firmware update to...

Acer Liquid E2 - Review

Now and again a phone comes along that impresses me. It's normally when the price, design, specifications, software and something special all combine to make something great.

In conclusion I really liked the Acer Liquid E2, it felt like a tweaked budget Nexus device. The elements Acer have added to Android are really quite useful.

Acer Liquid E2 review: Stock Android Jelly Bean, Decent Battery, Good Performer

Despite the fact that smartphones are still pushing the boundaries and offering more power, features and functionality than ever before, there's still plenty of demand from the mid-range and lower end sections of the market.

Good performance, Good battery life, Decent camera, Stock Android 4.2

Ugly and chunky design, low storage for the price

A fairly well-rounded offering let down by poor aesthetics and low storage compared to competitors at this price point - if it was cheaper it'd be good value for money

Acer Liquid E2 review: a budget phone with all the usual trade-offs

Whenever we review a budget smartphone, our job is to weigh the handset's cost against its similarly priced rivals. You'd hope, for instance, that if you

Inexpensive ; Stock Android ; Sturdy build ; Decent battery life

Subpar camera ; Poor sound, weak call quality ; Mediocre performance

The Liquid E2 is a decent handset for casual users, offering good battery life and stock Android. Just make sure you've lowered your expectations before taking the plunge.

Acer's Liquid E2 is an affordable, but ugly quad-core Android

If you can overlook mismatched colors, wonky design, and a mediocre camera, the unlocked Liquid E2 brings quad-core Android Jelly Bean smarts for an affordable price.

Review Acer Liquid E2 Duo Smartphone

Loyal everyday companion? For 250 Euros (~$333) the Liquid E2 Duo

bright, high-contrast display; IPS technology with excellent viewing angle stability; elaborate Dual-SIM feature; very good application performance; good battery runtimes

processing could be better; slightly too tightly sitting back cover; somewhat unstable display surface

The Simvalley SPX-12, the Samsung Galaxy S DUOS, the Alcatel One Touch Ultra 997D and the Yarvik Ingenia X1 are the direct competition and additionally the sister model Acer Liquid E1 Duo and its competitors.

Acer Liquid E2 Review

The Acer Liquid E2 Duo does not come from Samsung or Apple, nor it is a bleeding-edge device, but - contrary to what you might expect - it is an extremely fascinating handset…

Good camera for its class ; Snappy performance of the quad-core MediaTek chip at a low price ; Camera interface is simple and intuitive ; Dual-SIM functionality is a bonus

Horrific looks ; Bulky and plastic

The Acer Liquid E2 Duo is a controversial device. On one hand is the snappy processor, brilliant camera and the nice and up-to-date nearly stock Android 4.2. On the other is the utter lack of attention to detail and a design that is not pretty.
