Blade fell apart

After only 4-5 uses of the blender to puree tomatoes etc., the blade assembly (with the rod) fell down. Everytime I try to put it back securely by trying to twist the blade assembly into the body (since there are plastic tabs that are supposed to go...

Stainless steel body, good number of attachments

Blade comes apart from the main body and cannot be re-attached

FELL TO BIT 2nd USE

Though powerful, it is not well constructed. The suction set up by the blades seems to have been enough to drag the blades out of the housing body, drive shaft as well.

None. Used twice

I bought this Oct 2012, and it was used twice. 1st use was using the small food processor unit for bread crumbs, that worked OK, the 2nd use, was last week, making cheese sauce, using the main multipurpose attachment. Half way through the process, the...

Basically as cheap and nasty as you'd expect

Would buy used Braun from online auction site next time.

Cheap. Had sufficient "bits". Can make soup with it, which was primary reason for purchase.

Kinda feels like it'll fall apart at any time. Have had to push bits back together that aren't firmly attached to one another - such as the blade in the hand blender attachment into the shroud. Basically feels like cheap Chinese made junk, which it is.

Good Newss/Bad News

While a great hand blender while it worked! I haven't talked to Newegg as yet about a return but my experience with them has been very good.

The good news is the blender has a powerful motor. I used the unit primarily to make smoothies and it worked just great while it worked that is

The bad news is that it only worked about 10 times and this morning while preparing to make a smoothie the unit was dead, nothing. Another thing not so good is that the stainless steel blender attachment needs to be taken apart after use and washed as...

Poor Design

no, this isn't a bad unit, or one that QC missed, its simply a very poor design. chefs should look elsewhere.

heavy-duty motor, sleek stainless steel, easy to clean, sharp blade will work nicely for protein shakes and mixed drinks, that's it.

whole unit rendered utterly junk by the incredibly poor design which attaches the blade to the motor. it pops off with the slightest bit of pressure. completely useless for chefs.
